摘要: An anchoring member is provided for anchoring an object to a supporting surface having a bore for receiving the anchoring member. The anchoring member comprises an elongate cylindrical body having a penetrating end arranged to be embedded in the bore and an exposed end opposite the penetrating end. The exposed end is configured differently than the penetrating end for distinguishing which end is to be embedded into the bore. At least part of the outer surface of the body is threaded adjacent the exposed end. An adhesive compound arranged to be coated about the penetrating end of the body secures the body within the bore. A heat generating compound located within a chamber in the body generates ambient heat for assisting in setting and curing the adhesive compound for anchoring the body in the bore.

摘要: Containers are mounted in rows on a display rack having shelves inclined upwardly so that articles on the shelf tend to slide forwardly. The containers arranged in rows located side by side across the width of the shelf are formed of board or as transparent plastic jars. Each container has a base on the shelf, upstanding front and rear walls and upstanding side walls with the front and rear walls inclined at a wall angle to a plane at right angles to the base the base so that with the base sitting on the inclined shelf the front and rear walls stand substantially upright. The front wall is higher than the rear wall to provide an exposed strip of each container of the row so that all strips can be seen in front elevation. The strip can be marked with a bar code.

摘要: An anchor is fastened into a drilled hole in substrate layer such as concrete by providing on an end portion of the anchor a surrounding layer of an adhesive of a character that it softens when heated and sets when it cools with a portion of the anchor exposed outside the hole. The exposed portion is heated by an inductive heating device in a heating cycle where the heating cycle is actuated by the operator switch but accurately controlled and limited to a single operation in the presence of the anchor by a control in the device in dependence on sensed environmental conditions and a measured size of the anchor.

摘要: A rotary mill for reduction of ore to particles is described. The rotary mill comprises a primary reduction chamber, a secondary reduction chamber and an outlet chamber. Material entering the primary reduction chamber is deflected by an impact rotor, which shatters the material and sends the resulting particles into a plurality of shatter bars. The shatter bars further reduce these particles and deflect them back towards the rotor so that the reduced particles encounter newly shattered material, causing further attrition. In addition, the rotary mill includes an exhaust fan arranged to generate an airflow from the primary reduction chamber, through the secondary reduction chamber and into the outlet chamber. This airflow carries the reduced particles into the secondary reduction chamber wherein the particles are thrown against reduction means. The reduction means are positioned between the secondary reduction chamber and the outlet chamber such that only particles below a certain size enter the outlet chamber. Material of sufficiently reduced size enters the outlet chamber wherein it is separated into fine particles and heavier particles. Specifically, the heavier particles fall out of the airflow and gather at the base of the outlet chamber until a sufficient weight accumulates to open the balance door which expels the heavy material from the rotary mill.
