    摘要: The present invention sets forth a power saving method and a power saving system applied in an optical disk drive. The power saving system comprises a central processing unit, a spindle motor, an optical pick-up unit, an analog portion of control circuits and a digital portion of control circuits. Each of the analog or digital portions of control circuits can be divided into several sets of circuits. Each set of circuits is coupled to an associated operation mode of the optical disk drive. The power saving system further comprises a power controlling unit for differentiating the specific sets of circuits not being used in the specific operation mode and powering them down. The sets of circuits not being used will be powered up while the associated operation mode in which they are required to operate is nearly started. The present invention also provides a power saving method of powering down the sets of circuits not being used relative to a specific operation mode of the optical disk drive.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for controlling a focus speed of a pick-up head while performing a layer jump operation over a multi-layer optical disk in an optical information reproducing apparatus. The optical information reproducing apparatus includes the pick-up head, an actuator and a counter. The pick-up head has an objective lens positioned over a first focus of the multi-layer optical disk and in response to a signal reflected from the multi-layer optical disk, will generate a RF level signal and. The actuator is electronically connected to the pick-up head for driving the objective lens to perform the layer jump operation in response to a kick pulse signal. The counter generates a counter value in response to the kick pulse signal. The method comprises the steps of sending the kick pulse signal to the actuator for kicking the objective lens out of the first focus; processing the RF level signal and the counter value for generating a speed control data according to a predetermined procedure; and driving the objective lens to a second focus through the actuator in response to the speed control data.

    摘要: A signal process device and method is provided to obtain a wobble signal from a set of retrieved signals. The signal process device comprises: an RF amplifier, band-pass filter, and a feedback control module. The RF amplifier generates a mix signal by synthesizing the set of retrieved signals reflected from an optical information recordable medium. The band-pass filter generates a transient-state wobble signal by performing band-pass filtering on the mix signal based on a target frequency. The feedback control module provides that target frequency by receiving the transient-state wobble signal and performing phase-locked loop and frequency dividing operations thereon. The feature and characteristic of the invention resides especially on repeatedly amending the target frequency via the feedback control module. In this setting, the band-pass filter is able to perform band-pass filtering on the mix signal based on the amended target frequency and obtain the desired wobbly signal.

    摘要: An opening cutter assembly for forming an opening perforation line in a plastic packaging film by rolling the plastic packaging film between the opening cutter assembly and an anvil roll of a rolling mechanism when the plastic packaging film is fed through the rolling mechanism. The opening cutter assembly includes an opening cutter shaft, at least one opening cutter seat, and at least one opening cutter blade. The opening cutter shaft has at least one containing compartment. The opening cutter seat is installed in and engaged to the containing compartment by a cutter seat mounting mechanism. The opening cutter blade is mounted to each opening cutter seat. When the opening cutter blade gets worn out due to long term operation and must be replaced, simply dismounting the cutter seat mounting mechanism allows the opening cutter seat and the opening cutter blade to be removed from the containing compartment.

    摘要: An opening cutter assembly forms an opening perforation line in a plastic packaging film by rolling the plastic packaging film between the opening cutter assembly and an anvil roll of a rolling mechanism for having an opening perforation line on a plastic packaging film when the plastic packaging film is fed through the rolling mechanism. The opening cutter assembly includes an opening cutter shaft, at least one opening cutter seat, and at least one opening cutter blade. The opening cutter shaft has at least one containing compartment formed. The opening cutter seat is installed in and engaged to the containing compartment of the opening cutter shaft by a cutter seat mounting mechanism. The opening cutter blade is mounted to each opening cutter seat. When the opening cutter blade gets worn out due to long term operation and must be replaced, simply dismounting the cutter seat mounting mechanism allows the opening cutter seat and the opening cutter blade to be removed out of the containing compartment of the opening cutter shaft.
