摘要： An internal combustion engine cooling device includes a piston fixedly mounted within a device housing coupled to a plurality of flow paths through which cooling water flows, the piston disposed facing the interior of the device housing; a cylinder container that advances and retreats relative to the piston and has a flange valve that opens and closes a main flow path of the cooling water; a thermal expansion unit provided within the cylinder container that causes the cylinder container to advance and retreat due to volumetric changes attendant upon temperature changes; and a heat-emitting element provided within a piston casing that heats the thermal expansion unit when supplied with electricity. An insulating cover is provided to the exterior of the cylinder container at a portion of the cylinder container disposed facing the cooling water.

摘要： A paint film-protecting sheet (1) that effectively prevents adhesive transfer to the paint film is provided. The paint film-protecting sheet (1) includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer (20), which is comprised of a non-crosslinking PSA, disposed on a polyolefin-based resin film serving as a supporting substrate (10). At least a surface portion (12) of the supporting substrate which adjoins the PSA layer is formed of a resin material that satisfies both of the following conditions: (1) it contains W wt % of a LLDPE having a density d of 0.925 g/cm3 or less, wherein W is greater than or equal to 20; and (2) it has a LLDPE content index α of 400 or more, the LLDPE content index α being defined as (0.935−d)×W×1000.

摘要： An edge-fastening tape (10) is provided that affixes an edge portion (20A) of a coating film protective sheet (20) to an adherend (30) having a coating film (32). The tape (10) has a rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer (16) provided on one surface of a sheet-shaped support (12). An adhesive strength raising agent (14) that raises the adhesive strength of the PSA layer (16) with the passage of time is disposed between the PSA layer (16) and the support (12). The adhesive strength raising agent (14) is an acid-modified polyolefin resin that does not have a dominant endothermic peak corresponding to a softening temperature and/or a chlorinated polyolefin resin having a glass transition temperature below 10° C. in a DSC measurement.

摘要： A paint film-protecting sheet, which is unwound from a roll for use, and in which occurrence of adhesive transfer at edges thereof is effectively prevented, and a method of manufacturing same are provided. The paint film-protecting sheet is in the form of a roll obtained by winding in a lengthwise direction a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet formed of a substrate in continuous sheet form and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the substrate. The substrate comprises a resin component made primarily of polyethylene resin or polypropylene resin. The paint film-protecting sheet, after being unwound from the roll, has a percent shrinkage, in the lengthwise direction, of not greater than 1.2% when heated at 80° C. for 1 hour.

摘要： [Problem] To obtain a thermostat device with which it is possible to dull the thermosensitivity of a thermo-element thermosensitive component to coolant water and better control the opening and closing of a main valve at a selected timing by means of an electrical heater. [Solution] A thermostat device (1) comprises: a piston (3); a cylinder container (4) which operates forward and reverse with respect to the piston and further comprises a flange valve which opens and closes a main flow path of coolant water; a thermal expansion body (W) which causes the cylinder container to operate forward and reverse upon the piston with a volumetric change commensurate with a temperature change within said cylinder container; and a thermo-element assembly body (10) which is disposed within the piston and further comprises a heat emitting element (H) which applies heat to the thermal expansion body by a supply of electricity. An insulating cover (20) is disposed which is formed to cover the exterior side portion of the cylinder container which faces the coolant water. Additionally, a resinous insulating material (21) and/or an atmosphere layer (22) are selectively disposed on the interior side of the insulating cover between said insulating cover and the exterior side face of the cylinder container.
