摘要: The present invention relates to an HVDC switchyard arranged to interconnect a first part of a DC grid with a second part of the DC grid. By means of the invention, a first part of the DC grid is connected to the busbars of the HVDC switchyard via a fast DC breaker, while further part(s) of the DC grid are connected to the busbars of the HVDC switchyard by means of switchyard DC breakers of lower breaking speed. By use of the inventive HVDC switchyard arrangement, the cost for the HVDC switchyard can be considerably reduced, while adequate protection can be provided. In one embodiment, the fast DC breaker is an HVDC station DC breaker forming part of an HVDC station. In another embodiment, the fast DC breaker is a switchyard DC breaker.

摘要: Multi-terminal HVDC systems and control methods therefore are disclosed. Methods for controlling multi-terminal HVDC systems having a plurality of converter stations may include receiving a plurality of measurements from a plurality of measurement units disposed on the HVDC system, identifying from the measurements a disruption within the HVDC system, monitoring the measurements to identify a steady-state disrupted condition for the HVDC system, calculating a new set point for at least one of the plurality of converter stations, which new set point may be based on the steady-state disrupted condition and the measurements, and transmitting the new set point to the at least one of the plurality of converter stations. In some examples, the HVDC systems may include an HVDC grid interconnecting the plurality of converter stations and a controller communicatively linked to the plurality of measurement units and the plurality of converter stations.

摘要: The present invention is directed towards providing event-triggered communication in a half duplex communication environment of a wireless communication network (10). A first end terminal (12) sends a selection of an end terminal (14) in a group of terminals to act as an event notifying device to a server (22). The event notifying device (14) compares an event with a threshold and sends an event notifier to the server if the event exceeds the threshold. If it receives the event notifier, the server prioritises data from the event notifying device over ongoing communication sessions for other devices in the group, receives data from the event notifying device associated with the event notifier and transports data indicative of the event to other devices of the group, in order to inform them of the event.

摘要: A direct electrostatic printing device and method print an image to an information carrier with increased density during printing. This is attained by measuring undesired image density variations in a direction parallel to the relative movement between an image receiving member and a printhead structure. The density variations are caused by distance variations between the printhead structure and a pigment particle source during printing, which at least in part is caused by a relative movement between at least a part of the pigment particle source and the printhead structure. A control unit is arranged to control the transport of pigment particles in such a way as to compensate for these undesired image density variations during printing, thus attaining a percepted uniform image density along a printed image for a specific desired image density.

摘要: A direct electrostatic printing device and method for printing an image to an information carrier with increased density harmonization. By continuously keeping track of the amount of pigment particles each aperture has available and thereafter using this information and the desired print density to control the control electrodes of the individual apertures, a harmonization of the printed density from different apertures is attained.

摘要: A direct electrostatic printing device and method for printing an image to an information carrier with increased density harmonization. This is attained by measuring the behavior of the apertures and subsequently adjusting the control parameters of at least the diverging apertures. The measurement of the behaviour of the apertures is suitably performed by scanning a known print sample with a predetermined density. The scanned values are inverted around a predetermined value for which no compensation is done to create a compensation function. At least the apertures which have a behavior which diverges from a predetermined behaviour are compensated according to the compensation function, thereby enabling an increased density harmonization. The compensation function can preferably be signal processed by, for example, a low pass filtering.

摘要: An installation for transmission of electric power by means of high-voltage direct current has two converters (SRI, SRII), each of which is connected to an alternating-voltage network (NI, NII) and which are connected to each other through a dc connection (L). One converter (SRI) is controlled as a rectifier and another converter (SRII) is controlled as an inverter. One converter (SRI) is current-controlling and another converter (SRII) is voltage-controlling. The installation has means (VARC.sub.rect) adapted, at such a change of the control angle (.alpha..sub.rect) of the current-controlling converter (SRI) that the angle reaches a limit of a predetermined interval (.alpha..sub.max nom rect -.alpha..sub.min nom rect) to control, by means of the voltage-controlling converter (SRII), the direct voltage (Ud) of the transmission in such a way that said change is limited.
