摘要： A fluid temperature control apparatus includes a housing with first and second housing portions, and a partition for isolating the first and second housing portions. The first housing portion has a first fluid inlet connected to a hot fluid source, and a first fluid outlet. The second housing portion has a second fluid inlet connected to a cold fluid source, and a second fluid outlet connected to the first fluid inlet. A valve assembly includes a tubular valve seat disposed in the second housing portion to define a piston receiving space with an open end that is spaced from the partition and that is communicated with the second fluid outlet. A piston has a head portion extending slidably into the piston receiving space, and a restricted actuated portion extending out of the open end of the valve seat. The valve seat has a radial valve opening communicated with the second fluid inlet. The piston is movable between a first position, where the head portion blocks the valve opening, and a second position, where the head portion ceases to block the valve opening. A temperature responsive member is mounted on the partition, and has a fluid contacting portion disposed in the first housing portion, and a volume-variable piston actuating portion connected to the actuated portion of the piston and disposed in the second housing portion.

摘要： An insole pad having step-counting device includes an insole pad body, a fluid bag, a connecting portion, a pressure-sensitive sensor, a thermostat, a transmitting circuit, and a receiving circuit. The fluid bag has an outlet, and is filled with fluid. The connecting portion is connected to the outlet of the fluid bag. The pressure-sensitive sensor and the thermostat are disposed within the connecting portion to contact directly with the fluid to detect the variation of pressure and temperature, respectively. The detected variation of pressure and temperature can be converted into pressure and temperature signals respectively. The sensor and thermostat are connected to a transmitting circuit in which the pressure and temperature signals can be received and processed. The signals are further converted into a value that can be transmitted in an RF signal. The RF signal can be collected by a receiving circuit and is further modulated, decoded, controlled and finally displayed on a liquid crystal display.

摘要： A pressure gauge reset mechanism including a cylinder having a pressure measuring head at one end, a piston forced by a first spring toward the pressure measuring head, a toothed pressure rod extending out of the cylinder, an actuating rod member having one end stopped at the piston and an opposite end fixedly connected to the toothed pressure rod, a second spring fixedly connected to the actuating rod member to push it upwards against the piston, and a pressure gauge coupled to the cylinder, the pressure gauge having an index shaft with a gear meshed with the toothed pressure rod, and a torsional spring mounted on the inside to hold down the index shaft and having one end stopped at the inside of the pressure gauge and an opposite end extending out of the pressure gauge and fixedly connected with a button, wherein the second spring member is compressed and the index shaft is turned by the toothed pressure rod to move the index of the pressure gauge when the piston is forced by the pressure being applied to the pressure measuring head to move the actuating rod member; when the button is depressed after each measurement, the torsional spring is released from the index shaft, and the second spring member is released to push the actuating rod member and the pressure rod back to their former positions, and therefore the index of the pressure gauge is returned to the zero reading position.

摘要： A tunable tire pressure indicator includes an elongated hollow casing and a valve-actuating member mounted to an upper end of the casing. A piston is provided movably in the casing near the valve-actuating member. A plug unit is mounted in a lower end of the casing. A spring is provided in the casing between the piston and the plug unit. A pressure indicating rod is disposed in the casing. The piston pushes the rod to extend out of the casing through the plug unit against action of the spring to provide a tire pressure reading in response to pressure entering the casing. The plug unit includes a movable member formed with a passage to permit the rod to extend slidably therethrough and to permit rotation of the movable member with the rod, and a stationary member mounted securely in the lower end of the casing and formed with a through-hole larger than cross-section of the rod to permit passage of the rod therethrough. The movable member is coupled adjustably and rotatably to the stationary member to permit adjustment in distance between the movable member and the piston to adjust initial spring force of the spring. Tuning of the tire pressure indicator to obtain a precise tire pressure reading can be achieved by adjusting the initial spring force of the spring.
