    摘要: A connector assembly having a cover assembly housing a first electrical component and a second electrical component. The cover assembly includes a mating connector receiving recess, a first component receiving recess and a second component receiving recess. A separating wall mechanically and electrically separates the first component receiving recess from the second component receiving recess. Latches are positioned in the first and second component receiving recess proximate the mating connector receiving recess. The latches cooperate with the electrical components to maintain the electrical component in the component receiving recesses. A seal is provided about an inside perimeter of the mating connector receiving recess. Bus bars electrically connect the first electrical component to the second electrical component. Wherein when the cover assembly is mated to the mating connector, a sealed compartment is provided that protects the first electrical components and the second electrical components from the environment.

    摘要: A wire dress cover for an electrical connector. The wire dress cover includes a rear wall with heat dissipating openings which extend therethrough. Side walls and end walls extend from the rear wall. At least one wire receiving opening is provided in the side walls or the end walls. Guards are positioned proximate the heat dissipating openings. The guards have guard side walls with side wall openings which extend therethrough. Top walls of the guards extend from the guard side walls. The top walls extend over at least a portion of the heat dissipating openings. The heat dissipating openings and the side wall openings allow for heat generated inside the wire dress cover to be dissipated to the outside of the wire dress cover, while the top walls of the guards deter material from entering the inside of the wire dress cover.

    摘要: An electrical connector for forming a mechanical and electrical coupling with an electrical conductor includes a tubular housing, at least one jaw member, a sealant containment membrane, and a sealant. The tubular housing has a connector axis. The housing defines a conductor receiving opening and an interior cavity each configured to receive the conductor along the connector axis. The at least one jaw member is configured to clamp the conductor within the interior cavity. The sealant containment membrane is disposed in the interior cavity and defines a sealant chamber. The sealant is contained in the sealant chamber in the interior cavity to environmentally protect an electrical contact engagement between the conductor and the electrical connector when the conductor is clamped in the interior cavity by the at least one jaw member.

    摘要: An embodiment is directed to a sealed tailgate handle assembly having a housing and a circuit board positioned in the housing. A switch is positioned in the housing and is configured to complete an electrical circuit path on the circuit board. Resin material encompasses the circuit board, with the resin material configured to seal the connection between the circuit board and the switch. An inner cover is movable between an initial position and a second position. A resilient member extends between the inner cover and the resin material. An outer cover has a deformable upper wall. Upon an application of a force to the upper wall, the inner cover is moved from an initial position to the second position, causing the inner cover to engage the switch, causing the switch to complete an electrical circuit path on the circuit board to release a tailgate.
