摘要： A security device connected to a host device which includes a processor performing a scramble operation and a storage unit, the security device comprising: a storage unit in which the first authentication code is stored; a random number generation unit; an encryption unit; and a controller which performs a scramble operation, wherein the controller generates a first scramble key by performing the scramble operation on the random number and the first authentication code and transmits the first scramble key to the host device, and the controller receives, from the host device, scramble data generated by performing the scramble operation on encryption target data according to the random number, generates the encryption target data by performing the scramble operation on the scramble data and the random number, generates encryption data, and transmits the encrypted data to the host device.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to make a housing for a ceiling-mounted type air conditioner small-sized without decreasing the performance and capacity of the air conditioner, and particularly to decrease the length of the housing in the depth direction, thereby facilitating the installation of the air conditioner and improving the room appearance. To achieve the above object, a heat exchanger is bent into a doglegged shape, the bent portion thereof is convex to the air inlet side, and the heat exchanger is inclined so as to be raised on the air inlet side. A cross flow fan rotating around a horizontal axis is disposed on the downstream side of the heat exchanger.

摘要： An IC card transaction system is disclosed in which at least a portion of the data required to complete a transaction processing is stored in the card by a customer in advance of transaction processing. A skip code is entered for portions of transaction data that is not pre-stored. An automatic transaction processing unit reads the transaction data stored in the card and receives from the customer any additional data which was not previously stored in the card (e.g. data associated with the skip code) and which is required to complete a transaction.

摘要： The present invention concerns a plumb-bob device for vertical pointing operation with a beam-casting housing supported vertically by a plurality of legs via a gyroscope mechanism. The device has a reduced size, so that it can be handled quickly and conveniently on a construction cite. The legs are mounted for expansion and contraction in and around an upper end portion via the gyroscope mechanism on and around an upper end portion of the housing. The legs each have an inner surface complementary to the outer periphery of the housing. The device thus can assume a shape just like a long pencil when the legs are contracted. For vertical pointing operation, the housing is held vertically by the legs in an expanded state. The device can be used as an inverted plumb-bob device and also as a pointer by mounting a retaining member, which has a string, on lower end portions of the legs in the contracted state thereof.

摘要： A casing includes half members coupled with each other. The half members in cooperation define an inner space for containing a storage device. A removable storage device unit is thus established. A guide surface is defined on the casing. The guide surface is related to a predetermined guide located on an enclosure defining an interior space for containing the casing. The guide surface serves to guide movement of the casing with respect to the enclosure. The removable storage device unit can easily be detached from the enclosure without disassembling the enclosure. The removable storage device unit can easily be carried. The user is allowed to utilize the single storage device common to a plurality of or various electronic apparatuses, for example. This enables a facilitated exchange of data between the electronic apparatuses.

摘要： A storage device unit includes a storage device containing a recording medium in a housing. A heat radiation device is attached to the storage device outside the housing. The storage device unit enables prevention of rise in the temperature of the storage device based on the action of the heat radiation device. The storage device keeps normally operating in a high temperature condition. Moreover, the heat radiation device can be attached to a conventional storage device, so that it is possible to avoid the redesign of the storage device. The storage device having a resistance to high temperature can be provided in this manner at a lower cost.

摘要： A voice recording card (1) can record and reproduce a message and when it is inserted into a transmitting and receiving apparatus (3), it can transmit and receive the message. In a recording mode, the message is applied through a microphone (14), converted into a digital signal by an analog/digital converter (21) and is recorded in a memory (22). In a transmission mode, the content of the message is read out from the memory (22) and is transmitted through an interface (24) to the transmitting and receiving apparatus (3). In a receiving mode, the content of the message received by the transmitting and receiving apparatus (3) is recorded in the memory (22) through the interface (24) and is read out, in a reproduction mode, from the memory (22) and converted into an analog signal by a digital-analog converter (23) to be outputted from a speaker (15). The card (1) comprises a central processing unit which controls an electric structure of the card (1) in response to the mode designated by a mode designation key included in a keyboard (13).
