    摘要: An extruder has an intake barrel, a degassing drum connected to, downstream from, and coaxial with the intake barrel, and an output barrel connected to, downstream from, and coaxial with the intake barrel and degassing drum. A driven shaft extends through the drum and barrels and is rotated for forming a plastic melt and advancing the melt through the intake barrel, degassing drum, and output barrel. A plurality of degassing screws surround the driven shaft in the degassing drum. A screw guide rotationally fixed to the shaft has respective seats for the degassing screws. Respective drive gears rotationally fixed but removably mounted on the degassing screws are received in respective seats in a gear guide separate from the screw guide and rotationally fixed to the shaft. A ring gear is rotationally fixed but removably mounted in the degassing drum and meshes with the drive gears.

    摘要: A melt filter for cleaning a plastic melt issuing from an extruder has a wheel rotatable about an axis and having an outer rim and a plurality of spokes forming an annular array of axially open spaces, a pair of housing plates axially sandwiching and completely covering the wheel and forming offset from the axis a melt passage extending axially through the wheel at the spaces, and removable filter elements braced axially against the wheel at the spaces between the spokes and angularly movable with the wheel with the melt flowing through the filter elements when same are aligned with the passage. One of the plates being formed with an edge cutout. A part on the one housing plate that can cover and close the cutout during normal operation of the melt filter can open and uncover the cutout for changing the filter element aligned axially with the cutout.

    摘要: The invention relates to a melt filter (1) for purifying, in particular, plastic melts leaving extruders, comprising a filter disk (3), which is provided between two plates (5, 5′) that form a housing equipped with a filter element changing station (7), and which can be rotationally driven by means of a power-operated pawl-type drive (4). Said filter disk has recesses, which are separated by webs (11) along a circular path and which serve to accommodate filter elements (8) that, by means of perforated disks, are supported against the forces arising due to the drop in pressure occurring therein in the flowing direction of the plastic melt. The inventive melt filter also comprises a melt channel (9), which passes through the plates in the area of the circular path, feeds the melt to the filter elements, and which widens up to the filter elements. The aim of the invention is to design the smallest possible melt filter with which, during operation, few unwanted changes occur in the plastic, and which ensures, even in the event of high pressures, a filter element exchange with nearly a constant pressure while remaining cost-effective. To this end, the invention provides that the plates completely cover the filter disk, whereby at least one of the plates is interrupted by the filter element changing station, and that the filter changing station is designed such that it is larger than a filter element and smaller than or the same size of two filter elements.
