    摘要: A liquid ejecting head includes plural ejection outlets for ejecting droplets; liquid flow paths in fluid communication with the ejection outlets; and a liquid supply opening for supplying the liquid to the liquid flow paths. The ejection outlets include first and second ejection outlets disposed at least at one side of the liquid supply opening and are staggered. The first ejection outlets are nearer to the liquid supply opening than the second ejection outlets. Each of first recording elements corresponding to the first ejection outlets includes one rectangular heat generating resistor having a long side extending along a direction crossing with an arranging direction of the ejection outlets. Each of second recording elements corresponding to the second ejection outlets comprises plural rectangular heat generating resistors which are adjacent to each other at long sides thereof and are electrically connected in series.

    摘要: It is desired that the temperature dependency of the frequency of a oscillator in a semiconductor IC is compensated in high precision. First signal voltage having temperature dependency and second signal voltage set to be constant independently from the temperature are outputted and A/D converted into first and second converted signals. And the compensation code is generated in response to the ratio between the first and second converted signals. The temperature dependency of the frequency of the oscillator can be compensated by using the compensation code.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an ink jet print head having plural types of nozzles arranged on the same substrate and through which ink droplets of different sizes are ejected, the ink jet print head exhibiting acceptable ejection performance regardless of the type of the nozzle. Thus, according to the present invention, each of the plural types of nozzles includes a bubbling chamber having an ejection energy generating element allowing an ink droplet to be ejected to a position located opposite an ejection port and an ejection port portion allowing the ejection port and the bubbling chamber to communicate with each other. Ratio of opening area of the ejection port portion at a position where the ejection port portion and the bubbling chamber communicate with each other, to the opening area of the ejection port is higher for the nozzle with a smaller ejection amount.

    摘要: An ink jet print head is capable of creating a state where the direction of ink-drop ejection is not likely to be influenced by air currents generated by the ink ejection, and is capable of printing an image without causing the shifting of dots. To this end, air currents generated by the ejection of ink and the interference among the air currents are reduced by blowing out gas in a direction parallel with the direction of the ink ejection. Accordingly, even with a print head that ejects, at high ejection frequency, ink from multiple ejecting openings formed densely, the advancing direction of the ink drops is unlikely to be deflected. As a consequence, a high-quality, uniform image can be outputted.

    摘要: Disclosed is a molding machine for simultaneously making upper and lower molds with cope and drag flasks, a matchplate, upper and lower squeezing boards, and a lower filling frame. This machine also includes a cylinder for raising and lowering the lower squeezing board, a driving mechanism that includes pneumatic and hydraulic piping systems for driving the cylinder using an air-on-oil system, and a controller for controlling the driving mechanism. The drag flask, the matchplate, the filling frame, and the lower board define a lower molding space, while the matchplate, the upper board, and the cope flask define an upper molding space such that the controller controls the driving mechanism to drive the cylinder at a low pressure. The lower squeezing board is raised to squeeze the molding sand for simultaneously making the two molds such that the controller controls the driving mechanism to drive the cylinder at a high pressure.
