    摘要： An image forming portion has a transfer portion for transferring a toner image formed on an image carrier onto the recording paper, and a fixing portion for heating and compressing the recording paper on which the toner image is transferred to fix the toner image to the recording paper. A control portion controls to heat and compress the recording paper by the fixing portion without performing transfer of the toner image by the transfer portion to smooth the recording paper under predetermined condition. At this time, the control portion is able to set variably the number of times to pass through the fixing portion without performing transfer of the toner image onto the recording paper and pressure force when the recording paper passes through the fixing portion.

The added specific information includes information concerning the image processing apparatus and management server which have treated the image data.

A color image recording apparatus is disposed with a bypass transporting path apparatus. A transporting path connecting apparatus is disposed between the front of a monochrome image recording apparatus and the back of the color image recording apparatus. A final processing apparatus that is common to the color and monochrome image recording apparatuses is disposed in the front of the color image recording apparatus. This system includes a process switching portion that switches an image recording process executed by one image recording apparatus to a substitute image recording process of the other image recording apparatus and a switching determining portion that determines whether the switching is executed by the process switching portion, depending on whether a predetermined condition is satisfied.
