    摘要: A technique for recording the front image of vehicles which violate the regulation in the axle weight is desired. In general, the weight of the leading axle cannot be excessively heavy, so that the over weight axle is a second or more rear side axle. And the distance between an axle weight detector and a vehicle detector for taking a vehicle image is normally below 8 meters. Under these conditions, when the over weight axle is detected, the over axle weight vehicle is guessed to be a vehicle being presently detected, a vehicle to be detected next, or next to the next. From the images of those vehicles, vehicles having no possibility to violate the axle weight regulation are eliminated based on a license plate read from the vehicle image or the measured vehicle height. The images being not eliminated are stored as over axle weight vehicle images.

    摘要: Low-profile spindle motor whose entire shaft length is utilized to configure, along an encompassing sleeve, a radial dynamic-pressure bearing section. One end of the shaft is unitary with the rotor, and a cover member closes the other end. Between the sleeve upper-end face and the rotor undersurface a thrust bearing section is configured. Micro-gaps are formed continuing between the sleeve upper-end face and the rotor undersurface; the sleeve inner-circumferential surface and the shaft outer-circumferential surface; and the cover member inner face and the shaft end face, where an axial support section is established. Oil continuously fills the micro-gaps without interruption, configuring a fully filled hydrodynamic bearing structure. Hydrodynamic pressure-generating grooves in the radial bearing section are configured so that no axial flow is induced in the oil, and in the thrust bearing so that lift pressure, balanced by hydrostatic pressure in the axial support section, is imparted in the oil.

    摘要: A spindle motor for use in a disk drive apparatus includes stationary and rotating portions. The stationary portion includes a shaft including a thrust plate. A sleeve portion includes an axial end surface arranged opposite the thrust plate. A first seal member is arranged opposite the thrust plate on an opposite side with respect to the sleeve portion. The thrust plate preferably includes a plate communicating hole arranged to connect first and second thrust gaps defined, respectively, between the thrust plate and the sleeve portion and between the thrust plate and the first seal member. The sleeve portion preferably includes a sleeve communicating hole arranged to connect the first thrust gap with an opposite axial side thereof. A lubricant is arranged to fill a communicating channel extending from a first to a second capillary seal portion through the plate communicating hole and the sleeve communicating hole.
