    摘要: A piston for use in a compressor that compresses gas containing lubricating oil is disclosed. The compressor has a crank chamber and cylinder bores for accommodating the pistons. A swash plate is located in the crank chamber and is supported on a drive shaft for integrally rotating with the drive shaft. The swash plate is operably connected to the pistons by shoes to convert the rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocation of each piston. Each piston has a head for compressing the gas supplied to the cylinder bore and a skirt projecting from the head toward the crank chamber. The skirt has a slot for receiving the swash plate by means of the shoes. A rib is formed on an inner wall of the slot and extends parallel to the axis of the piston. When the swash plate rotates, swirling gas in the crank chamber collides against the rib. When the gas collides against the rib, the oil contained in the gas separates from the gas and is guided to the shoes.

    摘要: Disclosed is a compressor having a drive shaft in a crank chamber and a swash plate supported on the drive shaft for integral rotation therewith to drive a piston in a cylinder bore. The piston compresses gas sucked from a suction chamber into the cylinder bore and discharges the compressed gas to a discharge chamber and the amount of the discharged gas is variable between a minimum and maximum values based on variation of the inclined angle of the swash plate between a minimum and maximum values. The compressor comprises a passage for leading the gas into the crank chamber from the discharge chamber to alter the inclined angle of the swash plate, a valve for selectively opening and closing the passage to lead the gas into the crank chamber via the passage when the valve opens the passage, and a control apparatus for controlling the inclined angle of the swash plate, which operates in accordance with the operation of the valve to hold the swash plate at the minimum inclined angle when the valve means opens the passage.

    摘要: In a housing, a rotor is secured to a drive shaft, and a sleeve is supported movably on the drive shaft. A rotary swash plate is tiltably supported on the sleeve and is coupled to the rotor. Coupled to the rotary swash plate are pistons which move in the respective bores. A refrigerant is supplied to each bore from a suction chamber, and the refrigerant compressed by each piston is discharged from the bores to a discharge chamber. A control valve controls the difference between the pressure in the suction chamber and the pressure in a crank chamber to change the inclination angle of the rotary swash plate, so that the discharge displacement of a compressor becomes variable. In the housing, a spool is slidably provided while enclosing the drive shaft. With the spool advancing into the crank chamber, (when the sleeve engages with the spool,) shifting of the rotary swash plate is restricted to the position that sets the discharge displacement of the discharge chamber to a predetermined restricted displacement. A gear pump which is driven interlocking with the drive shaft is provided in the housing. The discharge pressure of the gear pump is selectively supplied to the spool depending on the level of the discharge pressure of an evaporator. By retracting the spool from the crank chamber based on this pressure supply, the rotary swash plate is permitted to move to the position where the discharge displacement to the discharge chamber becomes zero.

    摘要: An improved piston guiding mechanism for use in piston a type compressor is disclosed. The compressor includes a housing. A cylinder block having a bore is accommodated in the housing. A piston reciprocates within the cylinder bore. A refrigerant gas containing lubricant oil is sucked into the cylinder bore from outside, is compressed within the cylinder bore, and is discharged out of the compressor in accordance with reciprocating motion of the piston. A hollow section extends radially from the central portion to the peripheral surface of the piston, and opens to the peripheral surface. The hollow section moves between the interior of the housing and the cylinder bore in accordance with the reciprocating motion of the piston, and transfers the lubricant oil in the refrigerant gas from inside of the housing to the cylinder bore.

    摘要: In a housing 1, 2, a rotor 11 is secured to a drive shaft 6 and a sleeve 12 is supported movably. A rotary swash plate 14 is tiltably supported on the sleeve 12 and is coupled to the rotor 11. Coupled to the rotary swash plate 14 are pistons 8 which move in the respective bores 9. A fluid is supplied to each bore 9 from a suction chamber 20, and a fluid compressed by each piston 8 is discharged to a discharge chamber 21. A control valve 25 controls the difference between the pressure in the suction chamber 20 and the pressure in a crank chamber 5 to change the inclination angle of the rotary swash plate 14, so that the discharge displacement of a compressor becomes variable. In the housing 1, a spool 32 is movably provided while enclosing the drive shaft 6. With the spool 32 entered in the crank chamber 5, when the sleeve 12 engages with the spool 32, the movement of the rotary swash plate 14 is restricted to the position that sets the discharge displacement of the discharge chamber 21 to a predetermined restricted displacement. By supplying the pressure in the discharge chamber 21 via a pressure supply passage 35 to retract the spool 32 from the crank chamber 5, the rotary swash plate 14 is permitted to move to the position where the discharge displacement to the discharge chamber 21 becomes zero.

    摘要: A variable capacity type swash plate compressor includes a novel hinge means. The hinge means includes a supporter arm, a main guide pin, and an auxiliary guide pin. The supporter arm is disposed on the rotor projectably therefrom toward the swinging swash plate, and has a main guide hole extending perpendicularly with the driving shaft. The main guide pin is inserted rotatably into the main guide hole. The auxiliary guide pin is inserted slidably into a hole, formed in one of the main guide pin and the swinging swash plate, perpendicularly with the main guide pin at one end, and it is fixed to another one of the main guide pin and the swinging swash plate at the other end. With the hinge means, the top clearances of the pistons can be always maintained virtually uniformly, and the moments resulting from the compression reactive forces can be inhibited from interfering with the discharge capacity control. Additionally, the compressor can attain the reduction in the manufacturing costs.
