摘要: A method for geolocating a terminal of a wireless communication system from measurements of a parameter representative of a radio signal exchanged between the terminal and base stations of the communication system. The method uses fixed base stations and a mobile base station which is displaced in a determined search area. During a predefined search period, the terminal emits several radio signals to the fixed base stations and the mobile base station. A precise geographical position can then be determined, on the one hand, from the measurements carried out during the search period for the different base stations, and on the other hand, from the geographical positions of the fixed base stations and from the geographical positions of the mobile base station at the different times of emission of the radio signals by the terminal.

摘要: A method for geolocating a terminal of a wireless communication system. The terminal includes a positioning device for obtaining a precise geographical position of the terminal. An access network of the communication system estimates an approximate geographical position of the terminal. In order to limit the size of the messages exchanged between the terminal and the access network, only a truncated part of the information about the precise geographical position of the terminal is transmitted by the terminal to the access network. The access network determines the precise geographical position of the terminal by combining the truncated information received from the terminal with the approximate geographical position estimated by the access network.

摘要: A method for estimating the geographical position of a terminal of interest, among a panel of terminals of a wireless communication system. For each terminal of the panel, a time signature including values measured for each terminal during a predetermined observation period is determined. Values of similarity between the time signatures of the terminals of the panel is calculated, a similarity value calculated for two terminals representing the probability of the terminals being moved together or having been located at the same place during the observation period. Various terminals of the panel are partitioned into different groups depending on the similarity values. The geographical position of the terminal of interest is estimated as a function of the available geolocation data for at least one other terminal of the group to which the terminal of interest belongs.

The packet including data encrypted according to a symmetric key encryption protocol by determining the value of a generation information and determining an encryption key according to the value of the generation information. A verification code for the encrypted packet is calculated according to the encrypted data and the first portion of the generation information. The encrypted packet to be transmitted is formed according to the truncated information, the verification code and the encrypted data.

Before sending the message, the terminal listens on the communication channel until the terminal detects an absence of activity on the communication channel for an inactivity time ΔTin. When no activity is detected on the communication channel for the inactivity time ΔTin, the terminal waits for a waiting time ΔTat and then transmits the message on the communication channel. The waiting time ΔTat is identical for all of the terminals of the wireless communication system.
