Abstract:
A document camera comprises a base; a camera head; a camera positioned in the camera head for capturing images of documents and other objects; a flexible neck connecting the camera head to the base and permitting the camera head to be moved relative to the base; a sensor for sensing a position or orientation of the camera head relative to the base; and a control device responsive to the sensor for selecting an operating parameter of the document camera based on the position or orientation of the camera head.
Abstract:
A video system (10) integrated along with a rear view mirror (170) into a rear view mirror housing (20) of a vehicle. The system (10) includes at least one video camera (30) and a display monitor (40), with the monitor (40) being located substantially behind and viewable through the mirror (170). The system (10) is capable of recording, storing, and replaying video images, and may also allow for capturing audio signals and other desirable information, including, for example, location and speed information.
Abstract:
The present invention encompasses a flashlight device (10) that is capable of recording, storing, and replaying video images. The flashlight (10) comprises a light source (70) adapted to emit minimal levels of infrared light and a video sensor (80) adapted to convert images into an electronic signal. The flashlight device (10) also includes a control module (210) adapted to receive the electronic signal from the video sensor (80) and to store the images in a memory (280). A system that includes a monitor 370 or a computer 380 for utilizing such a flashlight device (10) is also disclosed.
