    摘要: A refrigeration control system for cooling a vehicle passenger compartment having a compressor/pump for circulating refrigerant between an evaporator located for cooling the compartment air and a condenser located for ambient heat exchange. An expansion valve controls refrigerant flow from the condenser to the evaporator; and, a first thermistor senses directly the temperature of the refrigerant on the high pressure inlet side of the valve and a second thermistor senses refrigerant flow temperature on the low pressure discharge side of the valve. A microprocessor compares the first thermistor output with predetermined first upper and lower values and effects opening and closing of the compressor clutch switch for high pressure cut-off; and, a fan switch is opened and closed for energization and de-energization of a condenser cooling fan. The output of the second thermistor is compared with a second set of upper and lower limit values for responding to normal service duty cycling of the clutch; and, the microprocessor is effective upon sensing a predetermined temperature after an elapsed time interval to open the clutch switch in the event of low or insufficient refrigerant charge.

    摘要: A passive remote operating system is disclosed which may be employed to gain entry to a vehicle. A remote control, carried by a driver, periodically transmits a command signal whenever the remote control is moving. As the driver approaches the vehicle, the remote control comes within the reception range of a control circuit in the vehicle, which then receives the command signal. Receipt of the command signal activates the control circuit to begin sensing for an action by the driver, such as operation of a door handle, which indicates an intention to enter the vehicle. Upon sensing that action within a given period after receipt of the command signal, the doors of the vehicle are unlocked.

    摘要: A system for use in supervising and controlling temperature and other environmental conditioning equipment of a building or the like is disclosed. The system monitors and controls various types of sensors and control equipment located at remote field points. The system includes a control console and a number of field located multiplexing modules which are connected to various remote field points. Each of the multiplexing modules is connected to associated field points that are connected to each other and to the multiplexing module in a single leg circuit. The multiplexing modules and control console are also connected together. The multiplexing modules simultaneously and independently poll their associated field points and only communicate with the control console for an alarm special or changed condition. The field points include common field point modules which interface with any of various field point units which comprise sensors or control field point apparatus. The field point modules provide identification signals as well as values measured by the field point units to the multiplexing modules upon command.

    摘要: A control system utilizes a multiplex communication system for switchably operating power windows, power seats, power door locks, power mirrors, accessory lighting, etc. Switches mounted on the driver door and elsewhere communicate with a door-mounted microcomputer, which scans the state of each switch, prioritizes the requests, and issues commands in accordance with algorithms to control the windows, door locks, etc. The system has three modes of operation: Asleep, Active, and Awake. In the Asleep mode electrical power consumption is very small, and only a selected few input sesors are periodically monitored as to status. If a door handle is lifted or other action starts, the system changes to an Active mode, in which many more sensors are periodically scanned, and most output motors can be operated. In the Awake mode, windows can also be operated.

The limit sensor includes a resiliently deflectable member (18) for activating the signal at a predetermined station along the preselected path of movement and includes a base member (22) for supporting the resiliently deflectable member (18) and the pressure sensitive signal element (16). An actuator (20) receives the force (F) from the moveable element (8) and transfers the force (F) to the pressure sensitive signal element (16). In the preferred embodiment, the resiliently deflectable member (18) includes a leaf spring (18) positioned between the actuator (20) and the pressure sensitive signal element (16).
