    摘要： A metal container which includes two drawn container halves joined by an injection molded plastic ring. The container halves can be identical and of low profile, with upstanding walls terminating in formed edges of substantially the same size and shape. The ring includes a pair of opposed channels sharing a common base, and the formed edges of the respective container halves fit into the opposed channels of the ring. The channels and formed edges are adapted to provide tailored fitting and retention characteristics, so that one of the container half is gripped more securely by the ring, and the other container half is more readily removable.

    摘要： A refill unit for a windshield wiper blade having a resilient wiping element and a backing member with sidewardly extending flanges. A wiper blade superstructure has at least two articulated yokes or holders with claws on one of the yokes or holders engaging the flanges on said backing member. A clip is provided for holding the superstructure assembled with the refill and includes a tab engaging in one of at least two apertures in the backing member. Detents and lugs on the clip seat below the flanges for retaining the clip on the backing member. The clip has forwardly extending legs with hook-shaped parts extending outwardly for engaging the claws on the holder for holding the superstructure assembled on the refill.

    摘要： A lid for a container is provided generally comprising a main body and a door having a flip section pivotally connected to a push section, the push section pivotally connected to the main body. The main body includes a recess that defines a pivot wall. The flip section is positioned to engage the pivot wall and rotate relative to the push section in response to downward pressure on the push section. The floor of the recess includes a dispensing hole sized to dispense large items. Preferably, the dispensing hole is sized to accommodate a person's fingers while gasping an item. Additionally, the flip section of the door includes a sealing ring projecting from the underside of the door. The sealing ring is sized to engage the inner periphery of the dispensing hole to provide a seal to preserve organic or other perishable items.

    摘要： A unitary hinged connector connects a metal container lid and a metal container bottom to form a hinged container. The metal lid and bottom have matching formed edges which may be identical in shape or interfitting. The hinged connector is formed of molded thermoplastic and includes a ring member, a swingable partial segment, and an integrally formed hinge joining the ring member and the partial segment. The ring member, which is substantially continuous about the periphery, is normally attached to the formed edge of the container bottom, and has an upper seat for engaging less than all sides of the formed edge of the lid when the container is closed, leaving a hinge side of the formed edge free. The swingable partial segment securely grips at least the hinge side of the formed edge of the lid. The hinge is positioned to close the container in a normal condition and allow the container lid to pivot about the hinge to open the container.

The informative card has four rounded corners and a double-thickness frame defined by a folded lip which has four straight edges and four rounded connectors joining the straight edges at the corners. The folded lip provides an unbroken radiused peripheral edge bordering the card. A central display panel of the card is offset rearwardly to form a raised ledge on the front side of the card surrounding the central display panel.
