摘要: A torque-measuring system is applied to a training assembly of body training equipment. The training assembly includes a stationary base, a flywheel connected to the stationary base, a torque output mechanism driving the flywheel, and a brake member generating a resistance force by contacting the flywheel and displacing relative to the stationary base. The system has a measurement apparatus and a computation apparatus. The measurement apparatus includes a spring leaf and a strain measurement module. The spring leaf is connected between the brake member and the stationary base and has a mounting surface. The strain measurement module is mounted on the mounting surface of the spring leaf and generates a variation of electrical resistance corresponding to a strain of the spring leaf. According to the variation of electrical resistance, the computation apparatus outputs a torque value which reflects the magnitude of the torque outputted from the torque output mechanism.

摘要: A torque sensing apparatus has a torque adjusting assembly and a non-contact sensing assembly. The torque adjusting assembly has a fitting unit, a regulating rod and a regulating seat. The non-contact sensing assembly has a first device and a second device. The regulating rod is rotatably mounted through the fitting unit. The regulating seat is movably mounted on the regulating rod and located outside the fixed plate of the fitting unit. The first device is mounted on the fixed plate. The second device is mounted on the regulating seat and kept from contacting the first device. The non-contact sensing assembly detects a change of the distance between the first device and the second device and generates a signal to a controller, and the controller gauges a torsional value of the torque adjusting assembly. Therefore, the non-contact sensing assembly is not abraded and increases the precision of the torque sensing apparatus.

摘要: A clutch mechanism may be positioned in engagement with a slave sprocket of a drive train and a hub of a flywheel to create a frictional engagement between the sprocket and the hub, and to establish a break-free force threshold. When the drive train is actuated in the forward direction, the slave sprocket and the hub may move together, and when the drive train is actuated in the rearward direction under the influence of a force greater than the break-free force threshold, the clutch mechanism may slip between the slave sprocket and the hub, allowing the slave sprocket and the flywheel to move independently of one another. The clutch mechanism may also include a spring tensioner whereby the break-free force may be adjusted.

摘要: An exercise bicycle including a frame having a seat and handlebars, a high-inertia flywheel having a hub at a center of rotation, the flywheel being rotatably supported on the frame at the hub, and a drive train including a drive sprocket, a crank arm attached to and extending from the drive sprocket, and a pedal attached to the crank arm, the drive train being rotatably supported by the frame. The drive train also includes a slave sprocket fixed to the flywheel at the hub, with the drive and slave sprockets connected in a direct-drive relationship, the drive train driveable in a forward and rearward directions to cause the flywheel to rotate. A clutch mechanism is positioned in engagement with the slave sprocket and the hub to create a frictional engagement between the sprocket and the hub, and to establish a break-free force threshold. When the drive train is actuated in the forward direction, the slave sprocket and the hub move together, and when the drive train is actuated in the rearward direction under the influence of a force greater than the break-free force threshold, the clutch mechanism slips between the slave sprocket and the hub, allowing the slave sprocket and the flywheel to move independently of one another. The clutch mechanism including a spring tensioner whereby the break-free force may be adjusted.

摘要: A vibrating assembly for a vibration exerciser has a base, a drive device, a transmission, multiple stanchions and a platform. The drive device is mounted on the base and has a drive wheel. The transmission has a drive axle, two rotary cranks, two reciprocating cranks, two base levers and two platform levers. The drive axle is mounted rotatably on the base and connected to the drive wheel and has two ends. The rotary cranks are respectively mounted on the ends of the drive axle. The reciprocating cranks are pivotally connected to the rotary cranks. The levers have moving ends mounted on corresponding reciprocating cranks and stationary ends. The stationary ends of the base levers are attached to the base. The stationary ends of the platform levers are attached to the platform. The stanchions are attached to the base and have guide rods telescopically protruding therefrom and attached to the platform.
