    摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for collecting multispectral images with a mobile device having a camera with an image sensor, such as a mobile phone. The systems and methods of the present disclosure control, support and power one or more light sources to emit single or multiple wavelengths of light onto an object. The system further supports and controls the camera within the mobile device to capture a series of images or video in the different or same light wavelengths and geometries. The resulting series of images may be used individually or collectively to detect and compare features in an object. This system may be used for the capture of multispectral images or video that could individually or collectively reveal features in the object that may not be visible in a single image.

The webserver is communicatively connected to an application server. If fraud with respect to the user identification is detected, the application server sends a notification or alert to add the user identification to a list of compromised user identifications. The system also comprises a database for storing the list of compromised user identifications on a computer. Another category of user identifications is created referred to as phish phood which is comprised of fabricated user identifications.

    摘要: The invention contemplates a protective measure for internal parts of a gas turbine, whereby foreign objects in the flow of inlet gas to the turbine are subjected to strong centrifugal action at a locally frangible region of the inlet duct, i.e., prior to turbine exposure. The material and structure of the frangible region are selected such that foreign objects of greater than predetermined mass will rupture the same and thus avoid ingestion of such objects in the gas turbine. The invention is described for the case of a turbocharger which is operated by exhaust gas from an internal-combustion engine, and which supplies compressed inlet air to the engine; upon rupture of the frangible region, a rotor-bypassing flow is established to the gas-turbine exhaust for safe handling of engine exhaust and for use in prompt development of a suitable warning.

    摘要: An apparatus and procedure is provided for testing and evaluating the sealing effectiveness of dynamic seals of the type having at least one and often at least two dust-excluding seals. Included is a housing having a support wall formed with an opening through which a representative shaft is supported for rotation. An annular gap exists between the shaft and wall opening and is closed by the test seal. A dust chamber is provided on the atmosphere side of the test seal and includes a slow speed dust redistribution device which gathers and transports dust from the bottom of the chamber to the top where it is released and falls back into the chamber. A high speed beater agitation device disperses the released dust to maintain a constant density dust cloud environment within the dust chamber. A dry dust collection chamber is provided on the opposite oil side of the test seal. A separate pumping seal with hydrodynamic features creates a draw of the dust-laden air from the dust chamber toward the dust collection chamber. Dust which passes by the test seal is collected and measured to assess the sealing effectiveness of the test seal.

    摘要: A shaft seal for forming a dynamic seal along an axially extending annular running surface and method of installation thereof is provided. The shaft seal has a mounting portion configured to be connected to a stationary housing and a seal lip having an annular sealing surface extending between an oil side end and an air side end of the seal lip. The sealing surface is configured to extend axially along a shaft running surface. An annular bridge portion connects the seal lip to the mounting portion. A plurality of webs extend generally radially between the bridge portion and the mounting portion to prevent the seal lip from being inadvertently unfolded during installation or while in use. An annulus can be used to install the shaft seal into a housing and about a shaft without the need for secondary operations.

    摘要: An annular wear sleeve for a shaft seal is fabricated of an elastically deformable metal material and includes an annular body portion and an end flange portion. The sleeve is slightly oversized relative to the shaft on which it is installed to provide a low force slip-fit installation on the shaft. Once installed, the end flange is elastically deformed, imparting a radially inward bending force on the body portion causing the inner surface of the wear sleeve to constrict about and engage the outer surface of the shaft, providing intimate metal-to-metal contact therebetween to dissipate heat from the seal member and to secure the wear sleeve against rotation on the shaft in service. Releasing the deformation force on the end flange enables the wear sleeve to recover its elastic deformation, causing the wear sleeve to release the constricting engagement with the shaft enabling it to be dismounted from the shaft with low force in the same manner as was required for installation.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for calibrating an eddy current inspection system is disclosed which utilizes electronic workpiece flaw simulator circuitry for simulating a response produced by a flaw in a ferromagnetic calibration workpiece. The inspection system includes a detector probe which generates an electromagnetic field and is responsive to changes in the electromagnetic field. The workpiece flaw simulator circuitry is positioned in the electromagnetic field adjacent the detector probe. The workpiece flaw simulator circuitry controllably alters the electromagnetic field near the detector probe in a manner similar to a change in the field which would result from a workpiece having a defect of known severity passing through the field.In a preferred embodiment, the workpiece flaw simulator circuitry includes a reaction coil and a resistive loading network which are coupled together to produce inductive and resistive components of impedance in the simulator circuitry. The loading network is adjustable to provide differing predetermined loadings on the reaction coil to the electromagnetic field sensed by the detector probe and thus simulate defects of known severity in the type of workpiece under test.
