Abstract:
An apparatus for shaping plastics material pre-forms into containers includes a blow molding station on a movable conveying device. The station has a blow mold forming a cavity in which the pre-forms are expandable by a gaseous medium. A stressing device acts upon the pre-forms with the gaseous medium to expand them. A clean room surrounds the blow molding station at least in part. A stretching unit stretches the pre-forms along their longitudinal direction and includes a stretch bar movable with respect to the plastics material pre-forms. The stretch bar is insertable into the pre-forms. The station has a receiving space with a wall for receiving the stretch bar, which is movable relative to the receiving space and which surrounds the stretch bar at least in part. A flexible sealing device, which separates a sterile room area from a non-sterile room area, is arranged inside the receiving space.
Abstract:
An apparatus for molding plastic preforms into plastic containers, includes a plurality of molding stations which are arranged on a movable carrier. The molding stations each include blow molds, within which plastic preforms can be molded into plastic containers by applying a flowable medium, as well as blow mold carriers for holding the blow molds, a clean room which at least partially surrounds the individual molding stations, so that the molding stations can be moved within the clean room, and a locking mechanism at least partially located within the clean room, to lock the two blow mold carrier parts together in a closed condition. The locking mechanism includes a first locking element that cooperates with a second locking element, the first locking element being arranged to be movable by a movement device that is supported by at least one bearing that is at least partially provided outside of the clean room.
Abstract:
A container treatment plant, with a discontinuously working container treatment machine and having a feed conveyor and/or a discharge conveyor each for individual containers, and in the feed conveyor and/or the discharge conveyor, at least two continuously driven, circulating conveyor means supplying each other with individual containers, and where the conveyor means being closer to the discontinuously working container treatment machine in the conveying direction exhibits a closer conveying pitch than the conveying pitch of the conveyor means which is further away. In this manner, a container acceptance and/or transfer interruption caused by the respective cycle standstill of the discontinuously working container treatment machine is compensated by the conveying pitch difference to be able to continuously supply individual containers for the discontinuously working machine or continuously discharge them from the discontinuously working container treatment machine.
Abstract:
A magnetron of improved performance capable of stabilizing the frequency and phase of magnetron output for use in particle accelerators and other applications. Thin variable-permeability blocks are attached inside the resonant anode structures of a standard magnetron design. A variable bias electromagnet, with field orthogonal in direction to the RF magnetic field, is used to vary the permeability of each block and therefore the resonant frequency of each anode structure. An electronic feedback control circuit adjusts the bias magnetic fields to lock in the frequency and phase of the magnetron output to an external low-level reference signal. Such devices may be used to provide synchronized high-power RF to many locations (e.g. the RF cavities of a particle accelerator), while requiring the distribution only of electrical power and an appropriate low-level RF reference signal.

An apparatus for shaping preforms of plastic includes a plurality of shaping stations arranged on a movable carrier. The shaping stations each have blowing moulds which are arranged in blowing mould carriers and serve to accommodate the preforms of plastic. The shaping stations are conveyed within a clean chamber which is separated from its surroundings by of at least one wall. A sterilization device charges regions lying within the clean chamber with a flowable sterilization agent for sterilization thereof.

Abstract:
A plate heat exchanger may include a plurality of trough-shaped heat exchanger plates stacked one on top of each other. Each plate may define a plurality of openings configured to receive a first fluid and a second fluid separated from the first fluid. An upper cover plate may have crossed embossed recesses aligned with and arranged on the openings of the heat exchanger plate in a sealed manner.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a control device, especially a temperature control device, comprising a sensor, a setpoint sensor, an electronic or electromechanical switch, an electricity supply unit, a control electronics unit and a casing encompassing said components. Said control device (1) is constructed by MID technology and the electronic and/or electromechanical components which make up the control device (1) are supported by walls of sections (7, 8, 9, 10) inside the casing and/or supporting elements (2) connected thereto. Said control device (1) has connecting contacts (3, 3′) leading outwards. The electronic and/or electromechanical components are interconnected by means of strip conductors (16) located directly on the casing floor (15) and/or casing walls and/or interior casing sections (7, 8, 9, 10).
Abstract:
Apparatus for the shaping of plastics material pre-forms into containers includes at least one blow mold with two blow mold parts movable with respect to each other. The blow mold forms a cavity inside which the pre-forms may be shaped into the containers. The apparatus includes a stressing device which acts upon the pre-forms with a flowable medium for their expansion, a conveying device which conveys the blow mold along a pre-set conveying path, and a clean room inside which the blow mold may be conveyed during the expansion of the pre-forms. An inner wall of the blow mold facing the pre-form has at least one opening through which a flowable medium may be removed out of the cavity during the expansion procedure. A flow connection provided between the opening and the clean room is sealed off from a non-sterile environment of the clean room.
Abstract:
A gas turbine including a plurality of hook elements disposed one inside the other and designed substantially in the form of hollow cones or hollow cylinders, and including a stator blade support, is intended to enable an especially high efficiency while maintaining the greatest possible operating safety and operating life. To this end, at least one of the hook elements or the stator blade support has a substantially elliptical cross-sectional contour.
