摘要: A filling system with a supply conveyor, an infeed screw, a supply star wheel for a rinser, a rinser, a discharge star wheel for a rinser, an intermediate star wheel, a supply star wheel for a filler, a filler, a delivery star wheel for a filler/capper, a capper, a discharge star wheel for a capper, and a discharge conveyor is provided. Each component has a revolving body such as a star wheel. In case an abnormality occurs in any component, a control unit activates a brake for that component, which stops the star wheel of the component forcibly, while controlling servomotors for all of the other components, thereby stopping the star wheel of all of the other components where the abnormality does not occur. Even in the event of the abnormality in any component, each component is stopped nearly simultaneously, so that the filling system can prevent damage to all of the components.

摘要: A container filling machine is taught, said machine comprising one or more filling units, said filling units comprising a valve actuator assembly having a first end moveably connected to the filling machine to effect both lateral movement and reciprocating longitudinal movement; from a second end of the valve actuator assembly; and a valve removably connected to a second end of the valve actuator assembly, such that longitudinal movement of the valve actuator assembly actuates the valve to open and filler a container, wherein the valve is adapted to fill a plurality of varieties of containers. A method is also taught for filling one or more types of containers with a liquid. The method comprises feeding a stream of one more types of containers to a filling machine, said filling machine comprising one or more travelling filling units, each filling unit comprising a valve actuator, and a valve; associating each of said one or more types of containers with a filling unit; actuating said valve actuator as it travels along the filling machine to actuate said valve; actuating said valve to fill said associated container; and de-associating each of said one or more types of containers from said filling unit. Said one or more valves are adapted to fill one or more types of containers. A container filling unit adapted for filling one or more types of containers is further taught.

摘要: A filling machine configured to fill containers with a pourable product having a conveyor configured to receive containers to be filled at an input station, and a plurality of filling devices carried by the conveyor and each configured to fill one container at a time with a predetermined amount of pourable product during its advancement along the filling path. Each filling device includes a filling valve controllable between an open position and a closed position. The machine also includes a control unit configured to generate a signal for triggering the opening of the filling valves and to sequentially send said signal to each filling device. Each filling device is configured to receive one container at a time at the input station, and the control unit is configured to send the signal to each filling device with an advance time before the filling device receives the container to be filled.

The first control plane and the second control plane are spaced apart from each other.

The plant further comprises a control unit programmed with: a by-pass mode, in which it commands the conveyors with equivalent operative speeds, a storage mode, in which it commands the conveyors with the first operative speed greater than the second operative speed, and a recovery mode, in which it commands the conveyors with the first operative speed lower than the second operative speed.
