摘要： A method of improving USB device virtualization to prevent bus bandwidth from being over allocated when isochronous USB devices are attached to multiple virtual machines by attaching a dummy device to each virtual machine which will mimic the bandwidth reservations made by real devices in other virtual machines, thus allowing each virtual machine to determine the true available bandwidth. The dummy devices are represented by incorporating a dummy device driver in each virtual machine and emulating the dummy device in software in the VMM.

摘要： A sports catch glove according to the present invention offers superior control and effectiveness over conventional catch gloves. The glove incorporates a dished tensegrity stiffener in its distal finger portion that weighs less but is more than ten times stiffer than stiffeners employed in conventional gloves. To allow the wearer to gain maximum benefit from this added stiffness in the distal finger portion, the glove also incorporates a close-fitting inner glove, at least a portion of which is made of an elastomeric material. The inner glove keeps the wearer's hand more closely coupled to the glove than in conventional gloves, thus allowing the wearer to maintain control over the glove under the severe forces imposed when catching fast-moving, hard objects.

摘要： Described is a duckbill valve assembly for connecting with a waterless urinal. The assembly includes a sleeve for containing a duckbill valve therein. The duckbill valve includes a trough with two substantially parallel sheets forming a sealing area. At least one of the substantially parallel sheets includes a side pleat. When the parallel sheets separate as the valve opens, the side pleat expands, increasing the opening cross-sectional area over that afforded by the parallel sheets alone.

摘要： In accordance with some embodiments, a protected execution environment may be defined for a graphics processing unit. This framework not only protects the workloads from malware running on the graphics processing unit but also protects those workloads from malware running on the central processing unit. In addition, the trust framework may facilitate proof of secure execution by measuring the code and data structures used to execute the workload. If a part of the trusted computing base of this framework or protected execution environment is compromised, that part can be patched remotely and the patching can be proven remotely throughout attestation in some embodiments.

In a desired aspect, the paper clip is formed of paper or other sheet stock material.

摘要： The disclosure describes a system and method for controlling interfacing parameters for a device when connected to a host. In the system and method, the communications interface is configurable to be in operable connection to a host using a microprocessor in the device having a first bus controller and a second bus controller, the second bus controller external to the microprocessor. The method comprises: establishing an initial connection by the device; conducting negotiations by the device to set a first data transmission rate for the device for the initial connection utilizing a communication bus controller contained in the microprocessor; and after detecting completion of enumeration of the device, re-establishing the connection by the device using the second bus controller in the device that processes the communications at a second transmission rate that is higher than the first data transmission rate.
