Abstract:
A reclosable package comprises a first panel having first and second side sections and a second panel having first and second side sections. The first panel opposes the second panel and is joined to the second panel along the first and second side sections. A bottom extends between the first and second side sections of the first and second panels with the first and second panels joined to each other. A mouth is disposed opposite the bottom and extends between the first and second side sections of the first second panels. A closure member extends along the mouth, with the closure member including a first fin joined to the first panel and second fin joined to the second panel. A sealing member having a first and second ends is disposed proximate the mouth. The ends of the sealing member can be attached to the fin or panel such that at least one of the first end or second ends of the sealing member is attached with peelable seal.
Abstract:
A method and system are provided for processing multiple related financial transactions in a computer-based financial accounting system. A user interface is provided to receive the information corresponding to the multiple related financial transactions. If desired, any of a common transaction type, date and amount can be specified. The user can select information for the related financial transactions from a list or from a set of business rules, and can then apply the information. This causes a separate transaction to be automatically generated and optionally stored for each party. Sales tax transactions can be automatically determined for each of the multiple related financial transactions. Once the multiple related financial transactions have been generated and stored, they can be displayed in a check register format that can allow editing the transactions. Some or all of the multiple related financial transactions can be assigned to a group so that subsequent operations can be expedited. For example, a group can be selected, and a specified change can be applied to all transactions of the group. Also, if one transaction of a group is edited, the other transactions of the group can automatically be likewise edited.
Abstract:
In a process for the preparation of crystalline N-methylol(meth)acrylamide from (meth)acryamide and paraformaldehyde, the reaction of the solid reactants to give a product melt and the subsequent crystallization thereof in a reactor while subjecting the reaction mixture to mechanical shear load is preferably carried out in a self-purging screw reactor or a disk reactor. The reaction of the reactants and the crystallization of the product melt are preferably carried out without added solvent. A catalyst, in particular an alkali metal carbonate or a trialkylamine, can be used for the reaction of the reactants.
Abstract:
A method of forming a reclosable fastener track having a slider. The process provides a reclosable fastener track, forms a slit in the fastener track, attaches a slider to the fastener track, seals the slit in the fastener track after the slider attaches, and creates a first and a second end stop on the track.

Abstract:
A heat exchanger, with a core region having a plurality of tube bundles through which a fluid flows in series is provided with at least one specially designed header composed of two half shells. The specially designed header deflects the fluid stream between two successive tube bundles in opposite directions, with the supply and discharge of the fluid to and from the core region through the header. The resulting heat exchanger is structurally simple, having a minimum number of components to be mounted.
