The ink-jet head applies ink to the transfer sheet and the pad unit pushes the transfer sheet against the medium, thus providing a pressure transfer of the ink applied to the transfer sheet to the medium.

    摘要: A printing method and a printing system are provided in which a fast printing speed is achieved, a variety of ultraviolet curable inks can be used, and excellent transfer properties to a printing object can be achieved. First, print processing is performed, thereby printing an image on a transfer pad, next, provisional curing processing is performed, thereby provisionally curing an ultraviolet curable ink applied to the transfer pad, next, transfer processing is performed, thereby transferring the ultraviolet curable ink landed on the transfer pad to a printing object, and next, final curing processing is performed, thereby performing final curing of the ultraviolet curable ink transferred to the printing object. In this way, transfer printing of an image to the printing object can be performed by a single transfer. In addition, if the transfer printing is finished, cleaning processing is performed, thereby cleaning the transfer pad.

    摘要: A bulk ink supply system of an inkjet printer includes a connector, an ink flow path, and an on-off valve. The connector is attachable to and detachable from an ink container. The connector includes an ink guiding path formed in the connector. The ink flow path connects the ink guiding path and an inkjet head of the inkjet printer to supply an ink from the ink guiding path to the inkjet head. The on-off valve allows communication between the ink guiding path and the ink flow path when the ink container is attached to the connector and hinders communication between the ink guiding path and the ink flow path when the ink container is detached from the connector.

    摘要: An inkjet printer includes a media supporter, a head device, and an ink mist removal mechanism. The media supporter is configured to support a printing medium. The head device includes an inkjet head from which ink is configured to be discharged to print on the printing medium supported by the media supporter while the head device relatively moves with respect to the printing medium. The ink mist removal mechanism is arranged in the head device and faces the printing medium. The ink mist removal mechanism is configured to generate an air current that flows through a space between the head device and the printing medium. The ink mist removal mechanism is configured to discharge the air current to outside thereby removing ink mist generated due to ink discharge from the inkjet heads.

    摘要: A printing system includes an inkjet head and a decompressor. The inkjet head has nozzles to eject ink to a medium. The decompressor is configured to reduce pressure of at least an area between the medium and said nozzles of said inkjet head to a value lower than an atmospheric pressure of 1 atm. The ink contains as a main component at least one of a monomer and an oligomer, and is curable by polymerization of the main component. A saturated vapor pressure of the main component of said ink is 10 mmHg or less.

The solvent ink includes an organic pigment of from 3 to 7 weight %, a resin of 15 weight % or less, and solvents. A print heater is configured to heat the medium at the printing position. The print heater is arranged separately from a pre-heater. A temperature controller is configured to control a pre-heater heating temperature of the pre-heater and a print heater heating temperature of the print heater such that a surface temperature of the medium at the printing position becomes within a range of from 30° C. to 70° C.
