    摘要: A light source emits first incident light to a first polarization-reversed structure. The first polarization-reversed structure then converts the wavelength of the first incident light to emit a higher harmonic wave. A fiber coupler divides the higher harmonic wave output from the first polarization-reversed structure into output light emitted from the light source device and feedback light. The feedback light enters a second polarization-reversed structure. The second polarization-reversed structure then converts the wavelength of the feedback light to emit second incident light. The second incident light has the same wavelength as the first incident light. The second incident light enters a first wavelength converter.

    摘要: A femtosecond laser radiation or a picosecond laser radiation output from light source 6 is split into a first beam reflected to an angle of 90 degrees by a beam splitter 7 and a straightly advancing second beam cut out by the beam splitter 7. The first beam is reflected at an angle of 90 degrees by a second reflecting mirror 9, reflected again at an angle of 90 degrees by a fourth reflecting mirror 11, and is collimated by a second lens 15 to be irradiated onto an optical fiber core wire 13 to be written. The second beam is reflected at an angle of 90 degrees by a first reflection mirror 8, reflected again at an angle of 90 degrees by a second reflection mirror 10, and is collimated by a first lens 14 to be irradiated onto the optical fiber core wire 13 to be written. The femtosecond laser output from the light source 6 is split into two by the beam splitter 7, which interfere with each other in the vicinity of the core of the optical fiber core wire 13 to generate a change in the refractive indices of the glass depending on the light intensity distribution of the interference fringes, such that the gratings are written in the core 1.

    摘要: In a light attenuator or its attenuating method, a nonlinear optical material and an aperture section are placed respectively on a same optical axis, between a receiving optical finder and a sending optical fiber. The nonlinear optical material receives and refracts an input light outputted from the receiving optical fiber. The aperture section has an aperture, receives the light having passed through the nonlinear optical material, and outputs constant output light to the sending optical fiber by only allowing only a part of the light to be outputted from the aperture.
