摘要： A position and an area of a region to be processed, that is, a region from which image feature parameters are to be extracted, are obtained, and the number of pixels required for obtaining the usable image feature parameters is determined in accordance with types of the image feature parameters to be extracted. Then, a required resolution is calculated in accordance with the determined number of pixels and the area of the region to be processed, an image having a minimum resolution which is equal to or higher than the required resolution and which is usable to extract the usable image feature parameters is selected, and the image feature parameters are extracted from a region to be processed in the selected image.

摘要： A transmission for vehicles is composed of an input shaft provided with a plurality of drive gears and connected to a drive shaft of an engine, an output shaft disposed parallel to the input shaft, driven gears which mesh with the drive gears, individually, and are rotatably disposed on the output shaft, a synchromesh mechanism which includes a sleeve axially movable relative to the output shaft and engages with a side of the driven gears, thereby connecting the driven gears to the output shaft, and a parking gear formed integrally on a hub of the synchromesh mechanism, the parking gear radially overlapping a bearing from outside. Thus, there may be provided a transmission for vehicles that requires less component parts and has a small transverse dimension.

摘要： A valve ID registration system includes a sudden pressure decrease detector that detects a sudden pressure decrease in the tire and a transmission unit that transmits a valve signal. When the detector detects a sudden pressure decrease, the transmission unit transmits the valve signal, which includes sudden pressure decrease information, with more frames than normal. A sudden pressure decrease monitoring unit monitors the received valve signal for sudden pressure decrease information. After the valve signal including the sudden pressure decrease information is received with more frames than normal, when a new valve signal is received including the same valve ID as that in the valve signal including the sudden pressure decrease information and the new valve signal indicates an increase in air pressure, a registration unit determines that the valve signals were transmitted from the tire of the vehicle and registers the valve ID.
