Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a convertor for X-ray radiography and its manufacturing method and an X-ray detector, wherein the surface of the scintillator facing the X-ray is covered with photonic crystals of a two-dimensional or three-dimensional spatial structure capable of reflecting the visible light facing the photonic crystals generated by the scintillator to increase the intensity of the output light of the scintillator by more than 100%, thus enhancing the image brightness and improving the image resolution, in addition to reducing to a certain extent the interference between pixels due to the ability of the photonic crystals to control the direction of the light being reflected, for example, by controlling the reflecting direction so as to be vertical to the surface of the scintillator, and the manufacturing method and material for the photonic crystals are low in cost without toxicity, enabling it to be used more widely.
Abstract:
A D-type screwing assembly for furniture contains a retaining member including a hole defined in the retaining member, with a plurality of ribs defined on two sides of the retaining member, and with a slot formed on a top end of the retaining member. A screw member includes at least two orifices defined on a head end of the screw member and a thread section formed on the screw member to screw with the hole of the retaining member. A rotary member includes at least two posts extending outwardly from a front end of the rotary member, with a number of the at least two posts corresponding to that of the at least two orifices of the screw member, so that the at least two posts of the rotary member are fitted into the at least two orifices of the screw member correspondingly.
Abstract:
A joint with a protrusion rod has a male buckle and a female buckle engaged with each other. The male buckled has a hollow insertion stub with multiple expansion slots and has a receiving hole to movably receive a protrusion rod. A distal end of the protrusion rod is movably engaged with the insertion stub. The protrusion rod has a locking plate and multiple fins correspondingly engaged with the expansion slots when the protrusion rod is wedged into the insertion stub. By having the above structure, difficulty of disengagement of the protrusion rod from the insertion stub is significantly increased to prevent the disengagement of the male buckle and the female buckle. Thus, the joint has increased combination strength and is excellent in utility.
Abstract:
A fan holder adapted for fixing a fan onto a heat sink includes a frame, a fastener pivotedly connected with the frame, and a first resilient member disposed between the frame and the fastener. When the fastener is located at a first position, the first resilient member exerts a resilient force on and keeps the fastener at the first position, and the fan is sandwiched between the fastener and the frame. When an external force is applied on the fastener, the fastener rotates from the first position to a second position in which the fan can no longer be sandwiched between the fastener and the frame, and when the external force is removed, the first resilient member drives the fastener from the second position back to the first position.
Abstract:
An exemplary heat dissipation device includes a heat sink defining air passages therein, a fan holder fixedly mounted on the heat sink, a fan mounted on the fan holder, and an adjustable wind-guiding module located in and pivoted to the fan holder. The fan is positioned for generating an airflow flowing through the adjustable wind-guiding module generally toward the air passages of the heat sink. The adjustable wind-guiding module is selectably pivotable with respect to the fan holder such that a direction of the airflow generally toward the air passages of the heat sink is changed accordingly.

Abstract:
A fastener comprises a fastener post, a clasping element and an elastic element. The fastener post comprises a head, a post body and a threaded portion. The post body has a first extension section connecting with the head, a second extension section connecting with the threaded portion and a recess section connected between the first and second extension sections. The clasping element comprises an annular clasping body, a first clasping portion axially extending from the clasping body and a second clasping portion extending outwardly and then downwardly from the clasping body. The clasping body encloses the post body, the first clasping portion engages with the recess section of the post body, and the second clasping portion engages with the heat sink. The elastic element is set around the post body and located between the head and the clasping body.
Abstract:
An exemplary heat dissipation device includes a heat-absorbing plate, a fin unit, a heat pipe connected to the heat-absorbing plate and the fin unit, and a clip spanning over the heat-absorbing plate and resting on the heat pipe. A fastening tab and a positioning tab are formed on the heat-absorbing plate. A fastening hole and a positioning hole are defined in the clip respectively corresponding to the fastening and positioning tabs. The fastening tab is engaged in the fastening hole. The positioning tab is received in the positioning hole.
Abstract:
A non-Faraday ionic species removal process and system is described. The system includes a power supply, a pump for transporting a liquid through the system, and a plurality of porous electrodes. The electrodes , each include an electrically conductive porous portion. The electrodes may also include a substrate contiguous with the porous portion.
