摘要: An organic EL active matrix type of display apparatus includes an illuminance detector for detecting brightness of an ambient environment, a calculating section for calculating a brightness set value corresponding to an output from the illuminance detector, and a duty scanning drive circuit as a control unit for controlling a light emission period of time of an organic EL element according to the brightness set value calculated in this calculating section. The light emission period of time of the organic EL element can be controlled according to a percentage (duty) of a light emission period of time within one scanning cycle. With this duty control, display brightness can easily and smoothly be adjusted. Further the dynamic range is not narrowed, so high image quality can be maintained even at a dark place.

摘要: A bidirectional signal transmission circuit includes: a buffer element for reducing the impedance of a signal line; a signal line disposed between input terminals in both ends of the bidirectional signal transmission circuit; and a signal line disposed between output terminals in these ends. The signal lines are parallel to each other. A signal supplied from the exterior of the bidirectional signal transmission circuit is sequentially transmitted from one end to the other end of this circuit and is then output as an output signal from the other end in order to confirm the sequential transmission at the exterior. The transmitting direction is changeable between these ends in response to a switching signal supplied from the exterior. The buffer element for reducing the impedance of the signal line is disposed in at least one end of the signal line arranged between the output terminals.

摘要: A magneto-optical recording medium, which is for recording and reproduction of information by focusing of light of a wavelength/numerical aperture of about 1000 nm or less, has a light transmitting first dielectric layer having a first surface to which light strikes. A magneto-optical recording layer is formed on a back surface of the first surface of the first dielectric layer. A light transmitting metal layer is formed on the magneto-optical recording layer to a predetermined thickness required for dispersion of heat (about 10 nm or more) from the magneto-optical recording layer and having a larger heat conductivity than the magneto-optical recording layer. A light transmitting second dielectric layer is formed on the light transmitting metal layer. A metal reflective layer is formed on the second dielectric layer and reflects the light.
