摘要: Problem: A storage medium playback device includes a first playback means that plays back on the basis of information stored on a storage medium, a second playback means that plays back on the basis of information stored on a storage medium, and a single insertion slot through which a storage medium to be played back by the first playback means and a storage medium to be played back by the second playback means are inserted, wherein the storage playback device is capable of simultaneously playing back different storage media each with the first playback means and the second playback means; therefore, the area of an installation face for insertion slots is effectively used.Solution: The storage medium playback device includes a first playback means that plays back on the basis of information stored on a storage medium, a second playback means that plays back on the basis of information stored on a storage medium, and a single insertion slot through which a storage medium to be played back by the first playback means and a storage medium to be played back by the second playback means are inserted, wherein the storage playback device is capable of simultaneously playing back different storage media each with the first playback means and the second playback means.

摘要: A disk device realizing reducing in size and number of parts, prevention of damage to disks, shortening operation time for plurality of operations, improved vibration resistance and less expensive manufacturing cost is provided. In the disk device when a disk is reproduced, a disk reproducing mechanism is moved to become a center of disk coincident with a center of turntable thereof, a first disk holding mechanism is moved downward to load the disk on the disk reproducing mechanism, then a disk clamping mechanism is moved to clamp the disk loaded on the disk reproducing mechanism, and the disk is reproduced after the first and second disk holding mechanism release the disk and are taken away from the disk.

摘要: A cartridge changing device comprises a plurality of insertion detecting switches each for detecting an insertion of a cartridge into each holder. If a cartridge is detached from one holder due to a careless operation by an user during a movement of the holder, the cartridge changing device detects the detachment of the cartridge and then putts the holder back into position, thereby preventing damage to the device and cartridge. Furthermore, when a cartridge is inserted into a holder free of a cartridge through an insertion opening of another holder, in which another cartridge is being played, lies just above the former holder in a downward and slanting direction, projecting parts of the former holder, which are inserted into square holes of the open/close door, receive the front end of the inserted cartridge. Thus, the projecting parts prevent the open/close door from being bent.

摘要: A disk device for reproducing information includes a clamper that is used to clamp exchangeable disks. The disk device has a movement regulating member which is engaged with a sliding hole made on a base. A clamper base is engaged with a cam hole made on the movement regulating member to swing around a swinging axis on the base as a center. A clamper arm is supported on the clamper base to hold the clamper which clamps the disk. A positioning member is arranged on the base to abut with the clamper base when the clamper base swings. An energizing member urges the movement regulating member along a direction substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction of the movement regulating member.

摘要: A MD loading mechanism for a multidisk MD reproducing apparatus capable of storing a plurality of MDs and of reproducing information recorded on the plurality of MDs successively comprises: a plurality of cartridge holders for holding MD cartridges therein, respectively; a MD cartridge storage unit for storing the plurality of cartridge holders therein in a stack so that the back end surfaces of the MD cartridges held within the cartridge holders can be seen from outside, provided with a plurality of insertion slots through which the MD cartridges are inserted in the cartridge holders and cartridge holder locking means for locking the cartridge holders within the MD cartridge storage unit; and a cartridge holder transfer means for transferring the cartridge holder holding a desired MD cartridge from the MD cartridge storage unit to the MD reproducing apparatus. The contents of the MD cartridges stored in the MD cartridge storage unit can be known and the MD cartridges can be taken out or changed while the MD reproducing apparatus is in operation.
