    摘要: The invention relates to a mattress, particularly an air mattress. It comprises a bottom element (1) and a number of elongated, bag-like mattress elements (2), which may be inflated with gas such as air and are adjacently attached in the bottom element (1) of the mattress, transversally to the lengthwise direction (D--D) of the mattress and in such a fashion that they form, when inflated with gas, loop-like members, resembling an overturned U-shape or the like in cross-section, and extending outwards from the bottom element. The mattress may also comprise a number of second elongated, air-inflatable or similar resilient bag-like mattress elements. In that case, the first mattress element is arranged to encompass, at least partly, the second mattress element. According to the invention, the mattress elements (2) are secured to the bottom element of the mattress by means of fastening members, which may be mechanically locked to each other so that each mattress element (2) may be detached from the bottom part (1) and replaced.

    摘要: A lifting and transfer system for a patient includes a bed with a body portion, a patient-supporting portion and a raising device for raising, lowering and inclining the patient-supporting portion. A support frame includes an essentially vertically extending lifting pillar and an essentially horizontally extending lifting arm, wherein an end of the lifting arm is attached to the lifting pillar. A person lifter for lifting and lowering the patient is mounted on the free end of the lifting arm. The support frame is secured to the body portion of the bed at least during a patient transferring operation. The lifting pillar may be connected to the bed in such a way that is movable in a substantially horizontal direction along the end of the bed body. The lifting arm is attached to the lifting pillar such a way that it is pivotable in a substantially horizontal level about the vertical axis of the lifting pillar.

    摘要: An air mattress includes an underlay (1) and a number of elongate first elements (2), filled with air and fastened to the bottom part of the mattress parallel to each other and transversally against the lengthwise direction of the mattress. The first mattress elements (2) form upward directed arched structures from their cross-section when inflated with air. The mattress also includes a number of elongate air-inflatable resilient second elements (9), in connection with the first mattress elements (2). Each first element (2) is at least partly around each second element (9) outside the first element. Each first mattress element (2) includes at least one first fastening member arranged in the lengthwise direction of the mattress element and a corresponding second fastening member arranged on the underlay (7). The fastening members are removably attached to each other, so each mattress element is unfastened from the underlay and change another. A method for adjusting an air mattress includes a step of partly filling the mattress elements (2; 9) with air. The mattress pressure corresponds to the surrounding pressure when the mattress elements are not subjected to a weight load, but the mattress pressure grows according to the weight load, so that the mattress elements conform to the contours of the weight load, and simultaneously the surface pressure against the weight load is distributed evenly over the whole weight load, such as a human body or part thereof.

    摘要: In a hospital bed comprising a body (4) provided with wheels, a transfer underlay frame (24) for a patient, a lying or resting frame (17), which can be lifted and lowered down, lifting means (30) for the lying frame, and bearer means (15, 20) for a transfer underlay frame; the bearer means comprise two U-shaped bearer rods (15) disposed side by side and turnable in the body, the upper and the lower arms (15b, 15c) of which are interconnected through articulated joints (18, 22) by a transverse support (16, 21) so as to secure a parallel turn of the arms aside. A bearer beam (20) is secured to the upper transverse support (21) and wheels (19) to the lower support (16). The invention allows a sideways transfer of a patient on a transfer underlay supported by straps (26, 28) secured to a bearer beam, without changing the direction. Wheels (19) provided in the bearer rods (15) move simultaneously to the same direction which ensures that the bed (2) is properly supported during all stages of the transfer.
