摘要： For bonding together two or more plies of cellulose fibers, the plies are fed to a lamination nip between a ply-bonding rotating element and an anvil element. The ply-bonding rotating element has rollers with a cylindrical surface provided with small protuberances co-acting with larger protuberances provided on a cylindrical surface of the anvil rotating element. The plies are bonded, if necessary with the aid of a functional fluid, not containing adhesive, due to the effect of the pressure between the protuberances.
