摘要： The present invention relates to a facsimile device for local facsimile to computer interconnection. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is comprised of the facsimile device 3 which is capable of being connected to a facsimile transceiver 1 and a computer 2. The facsimile device 3 allows the computer 2 to print data on the facsimile transceiver 1 using the facsimile device 3. Similarly, a document scanned on the facsimile transceiver 1 can be communicated to the computer 2 by the facsimile device 3. Under the control of a microprocessor 10, it is also possible to send or receive a facsimile or transfer a file using facsimile protocols from the computer to the telephone network, or vice versa, which may be connected to the device 3 at connector 15. Similarly, the facsimile transceiver 1 can send or receive documents by the telephone network.

摘要： A downhole pump has a barrel and a plunger. The barrel has a first one-way valve and the plunger has a second one-way valve. The plunger is of the box end type. The pump prevents or minimizes gas lock by achieving high compression in the compression chamber between the two valves. The second valve is located close to the bottom end of the plunger. In the second valve, the valve seat is in contact with the seat plug, which seat plug has a seal. Alternatively, the valve seat is incorporated into the seat plug, which seat plug also has a seal. The plunger lacks reliefs at the bottom end and thereby achieves tight tolerances with the barrel, further contributing to high compression.

摘要： An integrated communication system for the transception of facsimile data or binary file data is described. The system comprises a conventional facsimile machine having the components of a scanner, sampling device, transmission memory, compression device and modem connected to a telephone line of a public switched telephone network all being for the transmission of facsimile data and decompression device, reception memory, recording memory and recording device all being for the reception of facsimile data. These components are under the control of the operations microprocessor and user interface. The binary file data transfer components are the Tx/Rx memory, floppy disk controller and floppy disk drive, again, all under the control of the operations microprocessor. The binary file transfer is achieved either by control codes inserted in the Non Standard Filed (NSF) of a facsimile transmission conducted under the CCITT Recommendation T.30, or the proposed amendments to the DIS/DTC/DCS signals of the same T.30 Recommendation as are under consideration.
