An image management system includes an image output apparatus and an image management server. The image output apparatus displays and outputs an image. The image management server manages the image output from the image output apparatus. The image output apparatus captures, as image files, an image that is based on a specific data file and an image that is not based on the specific data file, in accordance with a predetermined capture condition, and transmits the image files to the image management server. The image management server includes a management unit that holds the image files received from the image output apparatus, and manages the image that is not based on the specific data file in association with the specific data file, and a communication controller that transmits, when receiving a request for an image, the request specifying the specific data file, the image associated with the specific data file.

An apparatus control method includes receiving an image, displaying the received image, presenting candidates for a printing device to be allowed to print the displayed image, selecting at least one of the presented candidates for the printing device, and transmitting, to the selected printing device, an instruction to print the displayed image. When the candidates for the printing device include a printing device that transmitted the image, the printing device that transmitted the image is presented in preference to the other printing devices.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

The present invention is directed to an information processing apparatus operable in any of a plurality of power states including a first power state and a second power state in which power consumption is lower than power consumption in the first power state. A first system may receive a view from a second system. The first system may establish a direct wireless communication link with the second system that does not connect through any intermediate system between the first system and the second system. Through the direct wireless communication link, the first system sends a view sharing request to the second system. The view sharing request may specify a view that is displayed by the second system and not the first system. The first system may receive view information corresponding to the view and display the view according to the received view information.

The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured, with the processor, to cause the apparatus to perform at least selecting a stored image including a virtual representation of a real world location based on position information and orientation information of a mobile terminal, causing provision of first visual content to be displayed at the mobile terminal based on the virtual representation, causing provision of second visual content to be displayed at a remote device based on the virtual representation, and enabling collaborative interaction between a user of the mobile terminal and a user of the remote device with respect to the first visual content and the second visual content. A method for obtaining one or more signatures on a document is disclosed, which includes: inputting information of a requestor and one or more approvers into an image forming apparatus and requesting signature approval on one or more documents; generating an e-mail from the image forming apparatus to the one or more approvers; forwarding the generated e-mail to the one or more approvers, wherein the one or more approvers can approve or reject the request for the signature approval from the requestor, forwarding the approval or rejection from each of the one or more approvers to the remote server upon selection of an approval or a rejection icon, and processing the approval or rejection of each of the one or more approvers on the remote server and generating a notification on the remote server, which is forwarded to the image forming apparatus.

A system and method for sharing a view between systems in a dynamic wireless communication network. Various aspects of the present invention may comprise a first system communicating information of a view to a display resource of the first system. The first system may establish a two-way wireless communication link between the first system and a second system in the dynamic wireless communication network. The second system may, for example, communicate a request to the first system for the first system to share a view with the second system. The first system may, for example, receive such a request and respond to such a request by communicating information of a view to the second system. The second system may then communicate information of the view to a display resource of the second system. Various aspects may comprise the first and second systems communicating view modification information between the systems.
