Abstract:
A storage assembly has a plurality of panels that are assembled to form a plurality of storage spaces, a plurality of connectors for coupling adjacent panels to form the plurality of storage spaces, and at least one tray positioned inside one of the storage spaces. Each connector has a generally circular body having a plurality of spaced-apart scalloped regions, with a recess provided at each of the locations of the scalloped regions. The storage system includes a caster having a wheel and a caster frame. The caster frame has a body, a bore provided therethrough for receiving the wheel, and at least two spaced-apart passages formed in the circumference of the body.
Abstract:
Improvement to an adornable binocular device having a telescope pair including a pivoting coupling between each telescope and arm and a second releasably slidable coupling between each telescope and arm.
Abstract:
There is provided a portable, lightweight, trauma treatment and patient monitoring device. The device comprises a base having a top surface and a pair of housings each having an inner surface. The housings are in pivotal communication with the base to enable selective articulation between a closed orientation and an open orientation. In the closed orientation, the inner surfaces of the housings are substantially parallel to the top surface of the base. In the open orientation, the pair of housings are in spaced opposed relation to each other and the inner surfaces are substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the base. The device also includes at least one bay located within at least one of the pair of housings. The bay is capable of receiving at least one medical monitoring/treatment device.

Abstract:
A modular shelving assembly has at least three spaced poles, each having a connector, a first post unit and a second post unit. Each post unit has first and second opposing ends, with a first protrusion extending radially inwardly from the hollow interior surface of the first post unit adjacent the first end thereof, and a second protrusion extending radially inwardly from the hollow interior surface of the second post unit adjacent the second end thereof. Each connector has first and second opposing ends, a first track provided adjacent the first end of the connector and a second track provided adjacent the second end of the connector. Each of the first and second tracks has a leg portion extending from one of the first or second end of the connector, and a foot extending from the leg portion. The first protrusion of each first post unit is retained in the foot of the first track of each connector, and the second protrusion of each second post unit is retained in the foot of the second track of each connector, when the first and second post units are connected to a connector.
Abstract:
Solvent soluble block copolyesters consisting essentially of units having the formula: ##EQU1## WHEREIN R is an alkylene radical containing at least 3 carbon atoms; R.sup.1 is an alkyl radical and R.sup.2 is an alkyl, alkaryl, aralkyl or aryl radical; A is an alkylene or arylene radical; a is an integer of at least 10; b is an integer of at least 1; c is an integer of at least 2; and d is an integer of at least 2; are formed by first reacting a dihalo-polydiorganosiloxane with a dihydric phenol or other diol and subsequently reacting the resulting reaction product with a dicarboxylic acid halide. These polymers are useful as release agents and leveling agents and find particular utility as abhesive materials for waterless lithographic printing plates.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a portable computer, such as a laptop or notebook computer, a subnotebook computer, a personal digital assistant, a wireless phone or the like, that can be set up in a closed configuration, a laptop configuration or a tablet configuration. The portable computer may include a base unit having a primary input device, such as a keyboard or pointing device, and a display unit having a display device. The base unit and the display unit may be coupled so that the display unit can be moved relative to the base unit to place the portable computer in a desired configuration.
Abstract:
A dress or clothing form includes a sheet metal back to which are attached a plurality of reinforcing strips. A support rod is carried on one of the reinforcing strips and on the back. Leg supports are attached to the back to which are attached a pair of flat leg panels. Front and back molded plastic body panels are secured by fasteners to the metal back and similar molded front and back leg panels are secured to the flat leg panels. The support rod includes a large diameter portion at its top which includes a tapered surface. This surface mates with a socket on a support arm attached to a stand for supporting the form at the desired height. The stand includes telescoping members each including a rack with one member including a gas spring connected to a pinion positioned between the racks. The gas spring is arranged to essentially balance the weight of the dress form and garment so that a worker can move it up and down with little effort. A pedestal supports the stand and includes a latch means for preventing telescoping of the stand while it is being moved.
