    摘要: There is provided a network component of a wireless communication network. The network component includes at least two output ports, each output port being associated with an antenna. The network component further includes a controller for providing a power signal set having at least two power signal components, each power signal component being associated with one of at least two output ports and being indicative of a power portion to be provided to its associated antenna for generating a transmission to a receiving network component of the wireless communication network. Further, the network component includes a power adjustment unit for scaling power signal components of the power signal set, thereby providing a scaled power signal set.

    摘要: In a telecommunication network, pilot signals are provided in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing frames to enable a single-carrier frequency division multiple access method to work substantially harmoniously with an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access method in uplink. Each orthogonal frequency division multiplexing frame comprises a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbols. At least one pilot signal is placed within at least one existing orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbol.

    摘要: According to an example embodiment, a method may include allocating, within a single physical resource unit (PRU), a plurality of channel sounding groups. Wherein each channel sounding group includes a frequency-time domain code division multiplexing (CDM) allocation. The method may also include broadcasting, in a downlink direction to one or more mobile stations in a wireless network, a signal that causes the receiving mobile stations to transmit a channel sounding signal. The method may further include receiving at least one channel sounding signal from at least one of the one or more mobile stations, the channel sounding signal being received in an uplink direction via one or more channel sounding groups. And, the method may include estimating the channel quality, of the channel used by the physical resource unit, based upon the received at least one channel sounding signal.
