    摘要: A display and an operating method thereof are provided. The display includes a display panel, a timing controller, and a plurality of source drivers. The source drivers are coupled to the timing controller and the display panel, and the source drivers are coupled to one another. The timing controller outputs a plurality of training packets to the source drivers. When the source drivers lock a clock of the timing controller according to the training packets, a lock signal is output to the timing controller. The timing controller outputs a plurality of color data packets and at least one latch signal to the source drivers based on the lock signal. The source drivers respectively output a plurality of pixel voltages to the display panel according to the latch signal. The training packets and the color data packets are serially transmitted to the source drivers.

    摘要: A transmitter and the method therefor are provided. The transmitter is applied in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based or other multicarrier communication systems. The transmitter uses N sub-carriers. Among the N sub-carriers, L sub-carriers (or tones) are reserved for PAPR reduction. L is less than N. The method includes the following steps. Original frequency domain data symbols are generated and fed into the reserved-tone symbol generation unit. The reserved-tone symbols are generated by using pure frequency domain signal processing. Then the reserved-tone symbols are combined with original data symbols to generate combined PAPR reduction signal. The resultant PAPR reduction signal can be fed into reserved-tone symbol generation unit iteratively to obtain updated reserved-tone symbols. For proper iterations, the original data symbols combined with L frequency domain reserved-tone symbols will result in lower PAPR transmit signal.

The adaptive channel estimator comprises a channel estimator and a channel tracking module. The channel estimator generates one first channel frequency response for each OFDM symbol when operated in the first mode, and generates the channel frequency responses of a second channel frequency response for every N-th OFDM symbols when operated in the second mode, wherein N is a constant integer exceeding one and j is a non-negative integer. The channel tracking module indicates a channel status, and controls the channel estimator to operate in a first mode or a second mode according to the channel status.
