The present invention relates to a method for preparing cerium carbonate that can improve yield and productivity of cerium carbonate, cerium carbonate powder, and a method for preparing cerium oxide using the same. The method for preparing cerium carbonate comprises the steps of mixing a cerium precursor and urea; and, elevating the temperature of the mixture to 50˜250° C. under solvent free condition to react the cerium precursor and urea.

Provided are a semiconductor device including a fuse focus detector, a fabrication method thereof and a laser repair method. In a chip region, fuses may be formed at a first level. A fuse focus detector including first and second conductive layers may be formed in a scribe line region. The first conductive layer may be formed at the first level, while the second conductive layer may be formed at a different level. For a laser repair method, a target region may be divided into sub-regions. In one selected sub-region, the fuse focus detector may be laser scanned in a direction for a reflection light measurement providing information on a thickness of the fuse focus detector. Using the thickness information, a focus offset value of a fuse in the selected sub-region may be calculated. When the focus offset value is within an allowable range, fuse cutting may be performed.

Provided are a fuse box that simultaneously prevents damage caused by laser blowing and cross talk between the fuses and a method of manufacturing the same. In a fuse box having an open region in which fuses are opened by laser blowing and a bundle region in which fuse opens do not occur, a capping layer, adjacent to the open region, having a metal layer and an insulation layer covers the outermost fuses in the bundle region, thereby reducing the influence of laser blowing of fuses in the bundle region, and preventing capacitive coupling caused by the formation of a parasitic capacitor between fuse lines and an insulation layer therebetween. Accordingly, cross talk due to the capacitive coupling can be prevented, thereby enhancing the reliability of a fuse circuit. Lower fuses can be disposed in a lower layer in the bundle region, thereby forming a two-layered fuse box.

A manufacturing system comprising an assembly unit for assembling components of a product, a test unit for testing the assembled product and a packaging unit for packaging the product that has passed the test unit is provided. The assembly unit comprises a moving unit, a worktable adjacent to the moving unit, first and second auxiliary worktables and a caster provided on a lower portion thereof, and a rotator to rotate one of the first and second auxiliary worktables with respect to the other within an predetermined angle. The test unit comprises a rotation table, a base for supporting the rotation table, a driving unit provided on the base, and a plurality of jigs disposed on the rotation table at a predetermined interval. Thus, the manufacturing system provides improved productivity with a small work space and work force coping with an increase and decrease of production, and a variety of products.

This invention provides a method for preparing 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-2H-benzotriatzole of formula (I) below, consisting of steps of: a) performing a first reduction in which hydrazine hydrate is added to a compound of formula (II) below with or without a phase transition catalyst in the presence of solvents which include a nonpolar solvent, water, and an alkaline compound, thereby preparing a compound of formula (III) below; and b) performing a second reduction in which water is added to the compound of formula (III) prepared in step a), and then zinc powder and sulfuric acid are added thereto with or without the phase transition catalyst, wherein, X is halogen or hydrogen; R is hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, C5-C8 cycloalkyl, phenyl, or phelyl-C1-C4 alkyl; and R′ is C1-C12 alkyl, C5-C8 cycloalkyl, phenyl, or phenyl-C1-C4 alkyl.
Abstract:
A device and a method for removing and re-engaging display devices with a conveyor belt system to facilitate tilt testing eliminates much of the manual labor associated with performing a tilt test. The device combines a fixture with a set of cameras to perform a tilt test using a tilt test pattern that is displayed on the screen of the cathode ray tube. The device and method allow an efficient tilt testing to be performed while minimizing the work process and time period for tilt testing, thus enhancing productivity. Furthermore, the time delay normally caused by the manual carrying of the display device by workers is reduced, along with the associated damage to the display devices. As a result, the overall level of quality of the image display devices that are produced can be increased.

An audio data playback clock signal generating apparatus of a digital VCR synchronizes an audio frame playback synchronization signal with a video frame synchronization signal when an audio data recorded in a magnetic tape is played back based on a phase error of an audio data frame size AF-SIZE and an audio data playback clock signal of the previous video frame. The audio data playback clock signal generating apparatus comprises an audio data frame size decoder, a low pass filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator, and phase error generating block and can be implemented by a large scale integration(LSI) to thereby provide a non-complex circuit and an accurate synchronization between the audio frame playback synchronization signal and the video frame synchronization signal.
