摘要： A method for changing printing plates in rotary printing presses, including a plurality of printing units each having a plate cylinder and a dedicated drive for driving the plate cylinder independently of an associated blanket cylinder in a respective printing unit, includes moving the respective blanket cylinder at a somewhat higher circumferential speed than the associated plate cylinder while conveying one or more printing plates out of the printing unit, at least in one operating mode, during a plate changing operation. A printing press and a controller are also provided.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for correct phase engagement of mechanically coupled rotatably drivable components in printing material processing machines, include a coupling for mechanically connecting at least two of the rotatably drivable components. The at least two rotatably drivable components are operated at a different rotational speed in a transmission ratio in a mechanically coupled state, and a control computer has access to the transmission ratio for controlling an engagement operation and taking the transmission ratio into consideration during the correct phase engagement.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for coupling or uncoupling a cylinder, in particular a plate or blanket cylinder, to or from a gear train of a printing press or for coupling and uncoupling the cylinder to and from an auxiliary drive, for example for service work or during changeover processes, includes firstly accelerating the auxiliary drive to a predefined rotational speed, then coupling the auxiliary drive to the cylinder and then uncoupling the cylinder from the main drive. A sheetfed rotary printing press having the apparatus is also provided.
