    摘要: A gas storage canister includes a canister body, at least one supporting plate, at least one gas-guiding rod, and at least one compartment structure. The canister body has a bottom end, an outlet opposed to the bottom end, and an inner space. The bottom end and the outlet are arranged along a long axis direction. The supporting plate is accommodated within the inner space along the long axis direction. The supporting plate has at least one communication part. The gas-guiding rod is penetrated through the communication part of the supporting plate. The gas-guiding rod has at least one gas inlet/outlet end for guiding a gas. The compartment structure includes a plurality of compartments. The compartment structure and the supporting plate are accommodated within the inner space of the canister body. Each of the compartments stores a predetermined amount of gas storage material.

    摘要: Disclosed is a gas-inlet pressure adjustment structure for a flow field plate of a fuel cell stack. At least one gas inlet opening, at least one gas outlet opening, and a plurality of channels are defined in a central zone of the flow field plate. A membrane electrode assembly is stacked over the central zone. The channels are of a parallel arrangement and each having a reduced open end and an expanded open end, the reduced open end having a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the expanded open end. The reduced open end communicates the gas inlet opening through which a reaction gas is supplied to the flow field plate. Water generated by chemical reaction occurring inside the flow field plate and attached to a surface of the gas channel by surface tension is expelled out of the channel by a force caused by a pressure difference induced in the reaction gas, which is supplied through the gas inlet opening and flows in sequence through the reduced open end, the channel, and the expanded open end and eventually discharges through the gas outlet opening.

    摘要: This invention is related to a bipolar plate for a fuel cell, the bipolar plate comprises a plurality of groove type gas channels substantially parallel with one another, each of the gas channels has a cross section area defined by the walls thereof and an opening, each of the openings is provided with a reducing device to reduce the cross section area in the vicinity of the opening. This invention thus can increase the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the gas channels. Therefore, the gas channels of the bipolar plate will not be clogged by water droplets and the fuel cell can be operated with high efficiency.

The humidifier includes an unreacted gas inlet port connected to an end of an unreacted hydrogen discharge pipeline, which is connected at the other end to a hydrogen outlet port of the fuel cell stack, such that the unreacted hydrogen discharged from the fuel cell stack via the hydrogen outlet port is led by the unreacted hydrogen discharge pipeline into the humidifier. The humidifier regulates the relative humidity and concentration of the unreacted hydrogen led thereinto, and the humidified unreacted hydrogen is then discharged from the humidifier.
