摘要: A control valve according to an embodiment includes a guide member of a cylindrical shape extending coaxially with a valve hole, a valve element of a bottomed cylindrical shape for opening and closing a valve section such that the valve element touches and leaves the valve hole, and a pressure-canceling structure for canceling out at least part of pressure acting on the valve element by introducing a working fluid into a back pressure chamber via a leak passage, the pressure-canceling structure including the back pressure chamber, surrounded by the valve element and the guide member, and the leak passage communicating between the valve hole and the back pressure chamber. A sliding portion and a spacing are formed in an overlapped portion which is a region overlapped by the valve element and the guide member. The sliding portion is connected circumferentially at least when the valve section is closed, and the proportion of the spacing occupied in the overlapped portion is larger than the proportion of the sliding portion occupied at the time when the valve section is open.

摘要: In an expansion valve having a control mechanism with an airtight chamber, the airtight chamber is sealed by a steel ball joined into a filling hole in a metallic wall of the airtight chamber. The steel ball is fixed by resistance welding for sealing the filling hole. The diameter ratio between the inner diameter of the filling hole and the outer diameter of the spherical surface of the steel ball is set to a value falling in a range from 0.6 to 0.85.

摘要: To provide an expansion valve which permits both the assembling cost and the cost of parts to be effectively reduced by a large margin and thus is highly economical. A high-pressure refrigerant pipe, a valve casing and a low-pressure refrigerant pipe are previously formed integrally with an evaporator. At the time of assembling, an expansion valve unit having a minimum function to serve as an expansion valve is inserted into the valve casing and fixed thereto by a clip, and a distal end portion of a temperature sensing cylinder is fixed to an outlet pipe of the evaporator, thereby constructing an expansion valve. No special joints are required to connect the expansion valve unit to the high-pressure and low-pressure refrigerant pipes, and therefore, the cost of parts can be cut down. Also, since the valve casing into which the expansion valve unit is fitted is formed integrally with the high-pressure and low-pressure refrigerant pipes and the evaporator, no pipe connection is required, thus reducing the assembling cost.

摘要: An expansion valve (10) for controlling the flow rate of refrigerant supplied to an evaporator (1) of a refrigerating system comprises a temperature-sensing chamber (30) entirely provided within the housing (11) of said expansion valve in a low pressure passage (12) thereof. Said passage (13) is connected to the outlet of said evaporator (1) and the inlet of a compressor (2), for converting a temperature change into a pressure change in order to actuate a valve mechanism (20) in response to a rise and lowering in pressure of said temperature-sensing chamber to open and close a passage (13) for adiabatic expansion of the refrigerant. Said temperature-sensing chamber (30) contains a sealed gas charge and an adsorbent material (35) for adsorbing and releasing said gaseous medium in accordance with temperature changes sensed.

摘要: To provide an expansion valve capable of enhancing manufacturing efficiency of a body and yield from material, thereby reducing manufacturing costs thereof. According to the expansion valve of the present invention, a body is formed by die casting an aluminum alloy, and hence even when the body has a complicated shape, it is possible to easily manufacture the body. Further, even a valve seat, which is difficult to form by extrusion, can be formed integrally with the body, and hence the manufacturing efficiency of the body can be enhanced. Furthermore, component parts, such as the valve seat and the like, conventionally formed by cutting, are also formed integrally with the body by die casting, and hence it is possible to enhance yield from material to reduce manufacturing costs of the expansion valve.
