Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for multispectral imaging that may, comprising a cyclopean camera arrangement comprising at least two spaced apart imaging sensors operating at a first waveband, an image combiner arranged to combine images from the at least two spaced apart imaging sensors to provide a first cyclopean image of a scene from a first virtual position, a further imaging sensor operating at a second waveband different from the first and arranged to provide a second image of the scene from a second position, and a second image combiner arranged to combine the first and second images of the scene to provide a multispectral image, wherein the first virtual position of the cyclopean camera arrangement and the second position of the further sensor are arranged to be substantially the same.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for multispectral imaging comprising, representation generator arranged to generate a three dimensional representation of a scene, at least one infrared imaging sensor arranged to obtain an infrared image of the scene, and an image overlaying processor arranged to overlay the infrared image onto the three dimensional representation of the scene to produce an infrared three dimensional representation of the scene.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems and methods for generating staffing schedules. Some systems may be configured to generate staffing schedules including a flexible staffing recommendation indicative of a number and a time in which to schedule multi-skilled staff. In some examples, such staffing schedules can be generated based on a demand model generated based on historical demand data and scheduling thresholds.
Abstract:
A system for counting objects in a queue waiting for service at one of a plurality of electronic points of service “EPOSs” includes an object tracking system and a processor system for processing data. The processor system may have memory means storing data indicative of the positions of each of said EPOSs within a service point area, and be adapted to receive data from each EPOS indicating its operational status and to receive from said tracking system data relating to positions of objects within the service point area. The method of counting objects in a queue comprises firstly determining an initial seed location as a point at which a single queue of objects forms. Then, determining a new seed location as a point at which the single queue forms Once the new seed location is determined, tracked objects may be assigned to the single queue and then counted.

Abstract:
Radiation falling on a two dimensional detector array is analysed with respect to two perpendicular directions whereby two different characteristics can be analysed with one array. Possible characteristics include the variation intensity with wavelength, spatial position or path length through a sample.
Abstract:
A flame detection apparatus has a focused array based sensor which is responsive to radiation having a predefined wavelength for generating an image of the infrared radiation emitted within a monitored region, and means for measuring the spectral ratio of the intensity of radiation having a first wavelength emitted within the monitored region to the intensity of radiation having a second wavelength emitted within the monitored region. Processing means analyses the output of the focused array based sensor and the spectral ration measuring means for responses indicative of the presence of a flame within the monitored region.
