    摘要: A lever connector for contacting electrical conductors includes features and improvements over other lever connectors. The lever connector includes a housing, a busbar located within the housing, one or more lever mechanisms, and one or more resilient members that connect the lever mechanisms to the busbar. The lever mechanism includes a lever located on a near side of the busbar bridge and a lifting mechanism located on a far side of the busbar bridge opposite the near side of the busbar bridge. When the lever is actuated and lifted upwards and away from the housing, the lifting mechanism moves the resilient member to release away from the busbar. When the lever is closed and pushed downward toward the housing, the lifting mechanism moves the resilient member downward to push the electrical conductor against the busbar, thereby making electrical contact between the electrical conductor and the busbar.

    摘要: A microphone assembly includes a housing defining an acoustic cavity having a sound inlet for transmitting a sound in to the acoustic cavity. A micro-electro-mechanical (MEMS) microphone is located at least partially within the housing adjacent the acoustic cavity. The MEMS microphone includes a microphone aperture acoustically coupled with the aperture of the housing. An acoustic vent is located adjacent the microphone aperture to substantially allow sound to pass through the acoustic vent while substantially preventing a foreign contaminant from entering the microphone aperture.

    摘要: An air sampling pump includes a reciprocating piston for operating a diaphragm assembly. The diaphragm includes a valve head including a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet and a fluid chamber defining a fluid path between the inlet and outlet. A diaphragm sealing engages the valve head and encloses the fluid chamber. The diaphragm includes a piston diaphragm membrane portion coupled to the piston for reciprocating with the piston and reciprocation of the piston causes a change in air pressure within the fluid chamber to cause air to move from the fluid inlet toward the fluid outlet. The diaphragm includes a damper membrane portion, which cooperate to reduce an amplitude of pulsation in the airflow at the fluid inlet and fluid outlet.

    摘要: A method for joining two workpiece parts during a manufacturing process includes forming a first workpiece part having a first mating surface and forming a second workpiece part having a second mating surface. The first and second workpiece part may be separately distributed or may be joined for distribution. To join the parts, an energy director is formed in the first mating surface by an automated process, the energy director comprising an end portion projecting from the first mating surface such that the projecting end portion of the energy director engages the second mating surface when the first and second workpiece parts are brought into engagement with each other. In one example, the first and second workpiece parts are ultrasonically welded by pressing the parts together while vibrating at least one of the first workpiece part or the second workpiece part.
