A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide color photographic material contains at least one water-insoluble and organic solvent soluble homopolymer or copolymer and at least one yellow coupler of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a tertiary alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkoxy group; R.sub.3 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group; and X represents a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent.The silver halide color photographic material has high sensitivity and excellent sharpness, color reproducibility and preservability, before and after processing, as is free from sweating.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one of these silver halide emulsion layers containing a non-diffusible coupler which forms a properly smearing diffusible dye upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent together with a monodispersed silver halide emulsion. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material provides color images having not only an improved RMS granularity but also an improved visual sensation of graininess.
