    摘要: A pin electronics circuit for use in automatic testing equipment that includes a load for testing a pin of a device under test. The load of the pin electronics circuit is electrically coupled to a precision parametric measurement unit. In this embodiment, the precision pin measurement unit provides a forcing signal to the load when a high current mode is desired. In response to the forcing signal, the load generates a current through a resistor that results in a desired current or voltage at a pin of the device under test. Since the load is used in high current mode, the precision parametric measurement unit does not include a high current output stage.

    摘要: Compositions of high-purity natural beta-carotene and of the 9-cis isomer of beta-carotene are provided, as are methods for the production of these compositions from plant matter, conveniently algae such as Dunaliella species. Typically, the compositions contain at least about 5% 9-cis beta-carotene and less than or equal to 40% of all-trans-beta-carotene, and in some cases may contain 75% 9-cis beta-carotene or higher. The compositions are suitable for administration to humans or other animals, particularly for oral delivery, in a variety of formulations and dosages as pharmaceutical agents or as dietary supplements.

The micro-machined switching device may be a MEMS relay or a MEMS switch. In addition to the micro-machined switching device, the switching system also includes a balancing module for equalizing the electrical property between the input and the output of the micro-machined switching device. In certain embodiments, the balancing module includes a switch operable in a first state causing charge due to the parasitic capacitance on the input and the output of the micro-machined switching device to substantially balance. The switch is also operable in a second state wherein parasitic capacitance can separately accumulate at the input and the output of the micro-machined switching device.

    摘要: A circuit operating as a bridgeless current load in pin testing equipment for testing a pin of a device under test is disclosed. The circuit includes a transconductance stage having at least a first input and a second input and at least one output capable of being coupled to a pin of a device under test. The circuit further includes a first limiting current source coupled to the transconductance stage for sourcing the pin of the device under test to a first current level and a second limiting current source coupled to the transconductance stage for sinking the pin of the device under test to a second current level. The first input receives a commutation voltage and the second input receives a voltage at the output of the transconductance stage from the device under test. When the output voltage is above the commutation voltage, the first limiting current source is active and when the output voltage is below the commutation voltage, the second limiting current source is active. Thus, one of the limiting current sources the device under test with a current and the other limiting current source sinks current from the device under test. In certain embodiments, the gain of the circuit is programmable and therefore, the needed voltage differential to transition between states can be varied and made extremely small. In addition, the gain can be set to program the output resistance of the circuit.

    摘要: The signal amplifier is used for amplification of an input signal with varying control amplitude, particularly in the field of electromedicine. The amplifier contains at least two amplification paths which supply current to the deflection coil of the recording device. In the first path is arranged a first individual amplifier which is designed as a voltage-controlled current source. It is rated for a lower control range. This lower range is chosen to be the range in which the input signal lies during relatively long periods of time. In the second path is arranged a second individual amplifier. This amplifier is designed as a voltage amplifier. It is rated for a higher control range and supplies the deflection coil with peak current during relatively short periods of time.
