摘要： This invention relates to a hydropneumatic accumulator comprising a piston and cylinder arrangement defining in the cylinder a first compartment in which is provided a gas which is under pressure and which has a density less than that of nitrogen and a second compartment in which liquid is provided. Helium is the gas preferably used, such that, on the one hand, a much larger volume of the liquid can be stored in the accumulator at a predetermined pressure than is possible using nitrogen, and, on the other hand, the variations in pressure due to variations in temperature is much less than with nitrogen. The invention is particularly applicable to hydraulic controls for electric circuit breakers.

摘要： The invention relates to hydraulic control systems for operating movable members, particularly of electric switches, which require large instantaneous forces. A functional assembly includes power members such as an hydraulic jack, inlet and purge valves, and a high pressure oil source. The hydraulic linkages of this assembly are subject to high pressure and high flow rate and are formed directly in the connecting surfaces of the members, i.e., without conduits. An operational assembly for controlling the functional assembly can be connected thereto by conduits of relatively small cross-section as these conduits will not be subject to high pressure, or high flow rate and thus the length of the conduits for remote control does not present any of the usual problems associated with high pressure control systems.

摘要： This invention relates to a two-line hydraulic drive, especially for the control of driving member such as a double-acting hydraulic jack. A valve adapted both to feed and to drain is mounted on each of the two lines, the valve being hydraulically controlled. One of two control electro-valves, in response to a transient electrical impulse, puts one feed/drainage valve in the feed position and the other feed/drainage valve in the drainage position. The other of the two control electro-valves puts said other feed/drainage valve in the feed position and the first-mentioned feed/drainage valve in the drainage position. The two-line hydraulic control is applicable to the hydraulic control of electrical circuit breakers.

摘要： A circuit-breaker includes a fluid-tight cutout chamber in which are disposed a fixed contact as well as a sliding movable contact and which encloses a dielectric in the liquid state kept under pressure. The movable contact is brought and kept selectively against the fixed contact by releasable disconnecting means, in opposition to ever-present elastic disconnecting means tending to separate the two contacts and comprising hydraulic elastic means responding only to the volumetric elasticity of the compressed liquid in the circuit-breaker. The dielectric in the liquid state is preferably a compressible liquid having a compressibility at least ten times greater than that of oil and may be a liquified gas dielectric.
