摘要： The gauze or leno harness comprises a frame-like carrier (2) for a crossing yarn (16) and a guide (4) for a standing yarn (7). A U-shaped guide or deflecting element (20) reciprocates the crossing yarn (16) between the two lanes (13 and 14) of the carrier (2), the crossing yarn (16) crossing the standing yarn (7) in its movements. The element (20) is borne with freedom of movement on the base of the passage (15) between the two lanes (13) and (14). Since the element (20) is freely movable, it cannot become sluggish as a result of becoming dirty.

摘要： The leno attachment is provided with a leno yarn carrier which defines a pair of parallel yarn lanes, a standing yarn needle which may be integral with the carrier or separately spaced from the carrier and a deflecting lever for guiding a leno yarn from one yarn lane to the other in synchronism with a shed change. During deflection from one yarn lane to the other, the leno yarn is able to cross over the standing yarn from left to right and from right to left.In other embodiments, the lever may be replaced by a pin wheel or a pivotally mounted spring.The leno attachment may be used on different types of weaving machines include a jacquard weaving machine.

摘要： The terry weaving machine is provided with a deflecting mechanism for guiding the edge warp yarns therethrough to retain the tucked-in end of a weft yarn in tong-like fashion. The deflecting mechanism may be in the form of a plate with a single slot or may be defined by a pair of adjustable jaws so that the slot can be sized depending upon the size and type of yarns being woven.

摘要： The cleaning device employs a screening plate at the entry end of a reed through which a weft yarn can be picked and a cleaning element mounted at the beating-up line for scraping fluff from the screening plate.Plates may also be mounted adjacent the screen plate in order to reduce the aperture in the screening plate after a weft yarn has been picked therethrough while at the same time scraping fluff from the screening plate.In another embodiment, the cleaning device may have screening plates mounted on a shears through which the weft yarn is picked. In this embodiment, the screening plates can be moved towards each other to reduce the aperture through which the weft yarn is picked and subsequently moved into overlapping relation during severing of a weft yarn by the shears.
