    摘要: Aspects of a method and system for integrated FM recording are provided. A multimedia device with various integrated systems such as an integrated FM radio may provide content-based multimedia content recording, recorded content retrieval, and playback of desired or potentially relevant contents. The multimedia device may receive multimedia content along with information identifying the received multimedia content via the various integrated systems. A segment of the received multimedia content may be recorded selectively by comparing the corresponding content information with a favorite content list. The favorite content list may be generated and updated based on the multimedia content and/or program selection data. The multimedia device may have access to additional related stored multimedia contents to retrieve and render the stored segment of the received multimedia content. Device power consumption may be reduced by utilizing the local stored contents without access to the integrated systems' archives of broadcast program contents.

In this regard, one or more circuits in a temperature sensing crystal integrated circuit (TSCIC) may be configured to control power consumption of the TSCIC. The one or more circuits in the TSCIC may comprise a memory and a crystal. The one or more circuits in the TSCIC may be operable to generate an indication of temperature of the crystal. The one or more circuits in the TSCIC may be configured to control a current supplied to the crystal within the TSCIC, wherein the configuring is based on phase noise requirements of a signal generated by the crystal. Generation of the temperature indication may be enabled or disabled. The enabling or disabling may occur based on a rate of change of a temperature in the TSCIC.

The digital temperature indication may be communicated over a communication bus. An analog portion of the analog-to-digital converter may be integrated in the IC and may comprise, for example, a delta-sigma modulator. A digital portion of the analog-to-digital converter may be external to the IC and may comprise, for example, a digital filter.

GNSS satellite reference information embedded in radio frequency signals received by the integrated non-GNSS radios is extracted to assist the full GNSS measurement. A full GNSS navigation solution for the multi-standard mobile device is generated internally to and/or externally to the multi-standard single chip depending on the location of a navigation engine. The generation of the full GNSS measurement is independent of a host processor within the multi-standard mobile device.

Data stored in the memory may indicate a frequency of the crystal as a function of temperature and/or time. The memory may be writable via the communication module. Data stored in the memory of the integrated circuit may be updated based on an age and/or time of use of the integrated circuit. The time of use may be one or both of: how long the crystal has been oscillating since its most-recent start up, and how long the crystal has been in use over its lifetime. An electronic device may calculate a frequency of an oscillating signal output by the crystal based on a temperature indication from the temperature sensor and data read from the memory of the integrated circuit.
