Abstract: There is a process for preparing polycarbonate. The process has the step of copolymerizing an epoxy compound and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the presence of a catalytic system having at least one catalyst selected from complexes of a transition metal having general formula (I): The aforesaid process allows to obtain polycarbonates having a quantity of carbonate bonds in chain greater than 95% or polycarbonate/polyether copolymers having a quantity of ether bonds in chain ranging from 15% to 90%.

The compound is used as an electron acceptor compound in organic photovoltaic devices (or solar devices); is used in perovskite-based photovoltaic cells (or solar cells) in the layer based on electron transport material (“Electron Transport Layer”—ETL); and is used in the construction of organic thin film transistors, or of organic field effect transistors.

digitally acquiring at low resolution first 2D or 3D images of the rock sample, and by a recomposition of the first images along a direction representing a digital sample;

analysing each 3D digital block on the basis of key points or texture descriptors obtained elaborating the first images on the basis of the properties or structures of the rock, identifying two or more homogeneous classes of 3D digital blocks, each homogeneous class defining a portion of digital sample having 3D digital blocks equivalent to each other as to the technical characteristics of the rock; and
selecting at least one representative block for each homogeneous class identified, locating and extracting a sub-sample from the rock sample.-
