摘要： This invention provides a wide mouth container and intermediate article formed by stretch blow-molding an injection-molded preform of polyethylene terephthalate suitable for packaging tennis balls or other contents under pressure. The container includes an improved base construction which will withstand internal pressure with controlled minimal distortion and an improved flange construction surrounding the wide mouth which provides desired strength and thickness for receiving a metal end closure by double seaming operations and which is formed by a unique accommodation portion in the intermediate article which has a stepped wall construction.

摘要： Microwave cooking packages suitable for use as microwave popcorn packages include at least one panel (e.g., first and second panels) formed of a vertically rigid material. A flexible portion is attached to the panels. The flexible portion may be formed of a polyester film material such as a biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, which may be at least partially transparent. The flexible portion (and panels) defines a bag construction configured to contain a popcorn charge and to be expandable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration when the popcorn charge is subjected to a popping operation. The microwave cooking package may include a vent assembly configured to at least partially open when the bag configuration is in an expanded configuration to vent the bag construction. The vent assembly includes a first portion a second portion of the bag construction that is configured to be folded against the first portion.

摘要： A self-righting upright rolling toy figure is provided which can be molded in half sections and assembled into a body forming the figure. Weights are mounted in the lowermost portion of the sides of the halves in precise location to form the necessary righting and stabilizing forces. A wheel having a relatively wide rim and hollow interior portion is pivotally mounted within the halves with the lower portion of the wheel exposed below the body surface for rolling contact on a support surface. The mounted counterbalancing weights are positioned within the rim of the wheel in symmetrical configuration and spaced slightly inward from the inner surface of the rim which is in contact with the support surface. A circular cap can be attached to the upper portion of the assembled body halves to seal and secure the halves. Suitable sockets are provided on each side of the figure in a position coaxial with the axle rotatably supporting the internal wheel. Various assemblies can be formed by interconnecting the figures between themselves by the use of elongated pins inserted in the provided sockets as well as inserting shafts or pins into the figure sockets for supporting carts, wagons, wheelbarrows or other objects. The figures can have any body design desired whether it be a human figure, animal or inanimate object configurations. The shapes, color and design can be any arrangement desired.

The container includes a sidewall having a first axial end portion and an oppositely disposed second axial end portion. The sidewall is vertically compressed in the collapsed state and configured for expansion in a generally vertical direction to the extended state. A base portion is engaged with the first axial end portion of the sidewall. The base portion and the sidewall cooperatively define an interior region having an opening. A cover is engaged with the second axial end portion of the sidewall. The cover is configured for covering the opening to the interior region during cooking or heating.
