摘要： A multipoint lock system for use with the active and inactive doors of two-door sets, which provides an operator with the ability to lock or unlock a plurality of locking points both manually and automatically, and features a blocking mechanism to prevent unwanted locking. The system comprises a pair of releasably engaged mechanisms, one of which primarily controls the deployment of the locking members, while the other primarily controls the receiving windows that receive the locking members. Each mechanism is operated by a lever and thumbturn attached to a centralized cassette.

摘要： A limiter or stop for a sliding door or sliding panel is provided. The limiter includes a shaft disposed within the escutcheon that is connected to a head. The head includes two spaced-apart holes for frictionally receiving locking rods or bars. The head is further connected to retaining elements for securing the rods in position after insertion. The rods may be manually removed and inserted into either hole in the head. Rods of differing lengths are provided. Accordingly, a single limiter is provided that may be installed in a variety of different positions.

摘要： A lock system for the inactive door of a two door swinging combination is provided which prevents the active door from being latched or completely closed without locking the inactive door in place against the door frame and/or floor. Further, with the active door closed, the latch of the active door prevents movement of the slider of the inactive door lock mechanism and thereby prevents any unlocking of the inactive door until the latch of the active door has been removed and the active door opened.

摘要： Window grill clips which can be used to removably attach window grills to windows. The window grill clip has a window frame segment and a grill segment extending from the window frame segment at an upward inclined angle. An opening is defined through the grill segment. A tang connected to the grill segment has a first leg extending away from the grill segment and a second leg extending from the first leg and back toward the opening in the grill segment. The grill segment may have a tab which extends downward from and end of the grill segment opposite an end of the grill segment connected to the window frame segment. Window frame engagement spikes may be provided on the window frame segment.

摘要： A flexible coupling is provided for a lock actuator and a latch assembly. The coupling is particularly useful for sliding glass doors and enables the actuator to be mounted to the door in an axially offset relationship with respect to the connecting member of the latch assembly. The coupling includes a male member that includes an outwardly protruding knuckle that is pivotally and frictionally received in the socket of a female member. The male member is connected to either the lock actuator or the latch assembly while the female connector is connected to the other of the lock actuator or the latch assembly. Rotation of the lock actuator results in rotation of both the male and female member thereby resulting in rotation of the connecting member of the latch assembly even though the actuator is disposed offset from the connecting member.

摘要： A deadbolt lock system is provided for a swinging door which prevents movement of the deadbolts from a locked position to an unlocked position when the door is open. Movement of the deadbolts from an unlocked to a locked position when the door is opened is prevented by a slide plate which is locked into a deadbolt deactivating position by a plunger which is biased outward when the door is opened. The system also provides for an unlocking of the deadbolts and an opening of the door with a single rotation of the inside handle.

摘要： A pop-in extended travel single roller for patio doors is retained in the patio door track by no mechanical device. This is accomplished by mounting the roller assembly into a pre-fabricated opening, the width of which is slightly larger than the over-all basic width of the outer housing. Protrusions on the side of the outer housing, after passing through the opening, retain the roller in the proper position. This feature eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners thereby saving costs of parts and labor. This assembly also provides for increased over-all height adjustment range aids the ease of removal of the movable panel of the patio door assembly through the use of an adjusting screw.
