    摘要: The invention relates to the translation of lighting experience, particularly to the translation of scripts for describing lighting experiences and provided for controlling of lighting devices in a lighting system. An embodiment of the invention provides a method for lighting experience translation by means of a computer, comprising the acts of—receiving an effect based script, which describes one or more light effects of the lighting experience on one or more locations in a view in an environment (S10),—receiving one or more location-effect control models, wherein a location-effect control model describes light effects being available on a location in the view in the environment (S12), and—translating the effect based script into controls for one or more virtual lighting devices by using the location effect control model (S14). This allows to design lighting infrastructure independent effect based scripts and to translate the light experience, described with such scripts, automated into controls for virtual lighting devices, which may then further processed for a concrete lighting infrastructure.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of controlling a lighting system with multiple controllable light sources 3a, 3b and a system therefor. According to a first aspect, influence data of the lighting system are obtained, which data represent the effect of one or more of the light sources 3a, 3b on the illumination of one or more sections of an illuminated environment. In an optimization method, sets of control commands are continuously determined, a predicted light distribution for these control commands is determined from the influence data, and a colorimetric difference between the predicted light distribution and a target light distribution is determined. A plurality of adjustment steps are performed to minimize the colorimetric difference. According to a second aspect, a neural network is trained with the influence data and a set of control commands for controlling the lighting system is determined with the use of the neural network.

    摘要: The invention relates to automatically verifying the possibility of rendering a lighting atmosphere from an abstract description, for example from a lighting atmosphere specified in XML (Extensible Markup Language) independent of a specific lighting infrastructure and of a room layout. A basic idea of the invention is to translate the possibilities of a lighting infrastructure into so called light element templates. A light element template contains an indication of the possibilities of the lighting infrastructure at a certain semantic location, for example in a shop or a home in which the lighting infrastructure is provided. For every type of light effect of a lighting infrastructure, a different light element template may be created. This allows to automatically verify the possibility of rendering a lighting atmosphere from an abstract description in a lighting infrastructure at an early stage of the lighting atmosphere design process.

The initial lighting may be adjusted based on a user lighting manipulation gesture made proximal to the object. Also, for example, in some embodiments a lighting system (100, 200) may be provided that includes at least one light source (164, 264), an object sensor (153, 255), a gesture sensor (156, 255), and a controller (150, 250). The controller may provide lighting having a first state in response to the object sensor initially identifying presence of the object and may adjust the lighting in correspondence with a lighting manipulation gesture sensed via the gesture sensor to achieve a second state distinct from the first state.
